Stayed here for one night after a wedding. Room was £95 but the room was defo not worth it for the price. Hard double bed could feel springs, damp smelling room, barley any toilet roll, no shampoo/ body gel in the dispensers. Then asked for extra blanket and pillow for additional £30 for another person to sleep on the floor!
Wedding venue was okay, staff were slow to start on the bar but service got better. Food below average for the money. Location and views though very nice looking over the valley.
Wouldn't recommend staying though for the price asking for the room, not a altogether £125 experience for the room. Felt should of been upgraded when asked to add another person to room, not to be given a blanket and pillow for them to sleep on.

My and my wife just got married at the Maes manor 28/10/2022 absolutely brilliant from start to finish we were made to feel so special the ballroom looked amazing the staff was helpful friendly and professional nothing was to much trouble for the manager who guided us throughout the day everything was perfect summing up if you're looking for a reasonably priced venue for your big day please take our advice and do it at the Maes manor

Greeted by a lovely pregnant lady on reception, sadly, she swapped shift, and we had to deal with a moody staff member; extremely unhelpful, and we felt we were inconveniencing her paying for our breakfast!
Otherwise, what a lovely place!
Beautifully decorated for Christmas and other staff who were about were lovely, especially Saturday nights bar staff, bless them, they had no glasses available due to the ABBA tribute night and were rushed off their feet.
Rooms were nice. My sister wasn't sure about cleanliness. She slept on top of the quilt as she saw hairs in the bed, but I was happy.
Breakfast was OK. Not just me, but all other guests I over heard, mentioned wanting either a jug of water and a bit of jam as an option.
I'd like to suggest management sit and have breakfast and listen to what your customers are asking for or quietly moaning about.
I'd stay again, but it won't be my first choice.

I stayed over night for a wedding 💒 very pretty .
Food was nice although 2 small bowls of veg for a table of 10 and everyone had a desert apart from me who they forgot but I'm not one to moan so I ate my friends it was OK not the best.
The room. £95 for a double bed and a travel cot .
6month old and disabled friend, there was no lift (due to the age of the building) we were up stairs in the end room, lovely view couldn't swing a cat mind, very dated not the cleanest . No bathroom light my friend is almost completely blind all tho after complaining there was a light above the mirror we couldn't see because it was so dark . Breakfast was OK as you would expect.
Would I stay again. NO

Very disappointed with the fact that when we booked for New Years Eve overnight stay we were assured on a number of occasions that we would have a walk in shower. This was not the case as there was no room like that available. My husband is an amputee and needs a shower with a seat. There was no hangers in the wardrobe so a good job I took some with me. The room needs updating. Breakfast was good. I won't be considering staying again which is a shame as on previous occasions everything was very good. Disabled facilities need to be addressed.

We attended the Santa's Afternoon tea event at the Maes Manor Hotel last year and again this year, yesterday. Both times the food was lovely, fresh cakes and sandwiches enjoyed by me my partner and both kids (5 and 10). We even took some home. The entertainment was fab, lots of singing, dancing and lots of caracters like Minnie and Mickey Mouse. Kids loved the Santa as well, and the little gift they received from him.
Will attend next year too if they will have this event on. Definitely worth it.

Had afternoon tea on a wet Sunday afternoon. Lovely food and friendly service by the staff. However, we were alone in the restaurant for the hour that we were there! Not a lot the hotel can do about that, but it was a shame as it did affect the ambiance. Would be lovely on a spring or summer afternoon as views looked good.

We attended a New Years Eve party. Lot of confusion on arrival, there was someone clothes, shoes etc, in one of our guest room, we were placed in the coach hose? This wasn't what we booked?wasn't what we thought we booked. Very poor food. will never go there again. Jeff Jones.
