This is an excellent base for exploring Snowdonia and the Llyn Peninsula. The complex of holiday cottages offers great accommodation for older or younger couples or family groups. Owners Marie-Ann and Paul make you feel right at home. Wern Manor is located just a few minutes' drive from Porthmadog and Tremadog where you will find plenty of places to eat if you don't feel like eating in. Very highly recommended, and certainly somewhere we would happily go back to.

We had a mini break in the Wood Store - a small, cosy rental in the beautiful, special Wern Manor. Very peaceful, characterful and quirky place. The Wood Store is really clean, top quality and super comfortable, we enjoyed returning there after days out hiking Snowdon or walking along one of the many great beaches. The grounds provided a lovely, intriguing place to walk our dog in the mornings/evenings. The rental itself is made up of an all-in-one living room/kitchen/bedroom (a pull down bed, which was comfy and easy to set up) and a spacious bathroom with a shower big enough to clean a small pony. Our little westie was welcomed and all in all a perfect place for the three of us to get away from it all. This pack will be back!

This place is like a different world. It's just off the main road but you feel miles from anywhere. Absolutely perfect for a weekend away. Close to the beach. Great views.
