I’m so shocked! Housekeep called me up asking me to use their services again after having issues with them before. I said ok because I’ve struggled to find a cleaner. I came home today to find, parts of the Hoover left all over the flat, used cups everywhere. Our chairs have been strewn over the flat. Cleaning bottles and sponges left in different places. The craziest thing is that he turned our 40kg mirror upside down (it’s an arched mirror) leaving black scuff marks all over the wall. There are sticky spots all over the floor. My partner and I feel violated and now we can’t get into contact with anyone at HouseKeep. This guy had 72 5 star reviews on Housekeep which must be a complete lie!

I have a cleaner through housekeep and I love her, she is amazing, always on time and the quality of her work is awesome. If you want to get a good cleaner and you want them to show up, make sure to phone the customer service up and ask for an experienced cleaner. Make sure to message them the day before the cleaning, or ask customer service to do that, to check if they show up (Hence 4stars because of this). Once you are past this point, it is amazing.

Seems like a good idea, but unfortunately their cleaners cancel your booked regular cleans frequently and with little notice. This means you either need to rearrange with a different cleaner who you don't know - which is extremely frustrating - or wait for your next booked clean or their next available date (which they often cancel too), by which time what's the point in booking a regular slot in the first place. If you're looking for a reliable cleaner, I would not recommend this app.

This is the first time I've used Google reviews to criticize a business (check my record). I like to use Google reviews to congratulate businesses, but Housekeep is deserving of a special exception.

Our Housekeep cleaner was awful to deal with.

- The cleaner arrived approximately 15 minutes late than the latest time in the time window (of an hour).
- The cleaner did not acknowledge my wife's greeting when she opened the door and just walked into the house because she had headphones on and was listening to something (after knocking?!).
- There are tiles that needed a specific type of cleaning - after letting the cleaner know, my wife was left with a very clear impression that this was highly inconvenient to the cleaner and that a very reasonable request that we were passing on from the builder (who is in a position to know these things) was ridiculous.
- My wife put our child to bed and came back out to find the cleaner on her phone rather than cleaning.
- The clean was the opposite of thorough. There were lots of dust patches and uncleaned surfaces left behind.
- The cleaner did not complete the tasks that should have been completed over 4 hours.

We were relying on this clean going smoothly and there is a bunch we need to fix, which has put us under a lot of stress and means we have to hire a cleaner from elsewhere.

When we contacted Housekeep support, they responded with all the false sincerity you expect from an online service and put it on us to spend time collecting evidence so that we can go back and forth to get a refund for an insignificant amount of money. Not a good use of time.

Better to review on Google to warn other people and move on.

Good company with good customer service (in my experience) but the cleaners are forever cancelling. Back ups are sometimes (not always) available, but when your regular cleaner has your keys and doesn't pass them on to the replacement, arranging to let that replacement in at a time that works is infuriating. This shouldn't be left to the paying client to sort but the responsibility of the company (the convenience is the main reason that I choose to engage with a business like Housekeep in the first place but it's often just such a hassle).

Used company for the first time for a full house clean. My experience was very positive. Keen, eager cleaner who communicated well to ensure he met all tasks required. Very down to earth cleaner. Good value! Even tipped as such good value.

Housekeep is such a convenient app & service to use where I can book cleaners and adjust the schedule accordingly. Once, a cleaner is assigned the same one comes back if its on a recurring basis.

The cleaner we've got is absolutely amazing. She's super quick & efficient by always finishing the clean within 2hrs. The job she does is super clean and spotless so the home looks a lot more organised. Would highly recommend using Housekeep as the cleaners are really good.

Avoid this company like the plague, they are terrible! The cleaner came round last week and used toilet bleach on my bathroom tap, it has left a permanent burn mark all over the tap. I contacted the company immediately, sending across all the evidence and despite their site stating I would be called back within 15 minutes I didn’t hear from then until several hours later. The representative Jack said that since the cleaner has admitted fault he can send another cleaner round to try and fix the damage, however he then responded the following evening saying that they no longer will be sending anyone round to try and clean it. I responded within a few hours expressing my disappointment at this lack of professionalism and that I would like them to propose a more reasonable solution. It’s been a whole week since I sent that last email and no one has responded. I called last Friday and spoke to another agent named Mattia who promised to respond to the email by the end of the day but it’s been 4 days since then and still no response. This is the most appalling customer service I have ever witnessed. I have had to spend hours of my own time trying various products to remove the stain but nothing will work as it has corroded the material. My flat is a new build and everything is to a high spec so this stain sticks out like a sore thumb in my bathroom and now the company does not even have the decency to respond. Unless you are comfortable in taking the risk of having your property damaged I’d advise anyone to seek another reputable cleaning company instead.
