Stella's Cleaning Services

Terrible. I moved out of my flat in London in November and gave the owner a small list in writing (6 specific jobs), of what I needed cleaning - pretty standard stuff. I double checked the list with her twice as I wanted to be sure she gave it to the assigned cleaner.

The cleaner did not clean the limescale off the window in the bathroom (on the list) and left a lot of food debris under the oven door and on the ground in the kitchen. The landlord sent me pictures which I will attach complaining of the poor cleaning job. I had to pay another £60 for another cleaner to come and do it properly. When I rang the owner to inform her (after sending her the pictures), she was extremely rude and defensive, no apologies whatsoever and was shouting rather than speaking normally...this honestly baffled me in terms of customer service. I'm sure she will have some excuse in response to this comment too.

She told me the cleaner had 'done his best' and she said that he even picked up the keys for my flat as though I should have been grateful for this, even though I paid an additional hour for him to do this. I asked for an hour refund which was beyond reasonable considering I had to get another cleaner, she should have been offering me a full refund, period. She did not give me any refund and ignored my messages thereafter. AVOID. I am considering taking this to the small claims court.

I found this company on google. They had great communication with me and offered a service for a reasonable price. The cleaners where very respectful and done an excellent job. I would definitely recommend and will be using them again in the future.

Had a awful/ nightmare dealing with Stella. Hired to carry out a deep professional clean and the results were shocking and quite frankly embarrassing. The new tenants weren’t able to move in and we asked her to bring the cleaner back to rectify the mess and she turned up with one cloth, a plastic bag and a dustpan and brush.. what professional cleaning company does this?! When i bought this up with Stella I was gifted with shouting and threats from and refusal to refund me some of my money back. It goes without saying I’ve had to pay more money and hire a proper cleaning company.

Stella is rude and vile and goes about business in the wrong way. Please avoid.

The clean was i the flat looked better than when we moved. Absolutely spotless, the oven looks like it’s never been cooked in. The bathroom was always a bit of a mess and somehow is now sparking. Beyond that Stella was so lovely and accommodating - would recommend their services to anyone! Sadly we’ve moved out of London - otherwise we would absolutely have them as our regular cleaner.

I had my flat cleaned by Stella and her team after it was refurbished. There was so much dust! She took pride in her work and went the extra mile.

Her reputation is very important to her and nothing I asked her to do was too much trouble. I would definitely recommend and use again.

Requested an end of tenancy clean. They did not clean the property to a standard good enough for the inventory and refused to provide an invoice so I had no proof. They said that the job was more "difficult than expected " and asked me for more money after I had left, despite the fact I provided exact square meters and a video in advance. They used this as blackmail for coming back to clean to the standard that they guaranteed me (they originally said they would come back if it did not meet standards), or for getting an invoice.
Impressively poor service.

Nightmare experience with Stella. Needed a last minute end of tenancy clean, so booked Stella. Our agents informed us that upon inventory check the flat was filthy, requiring them to book in new cleaners to do a proper job at the expense of our deposit. Skirting boards had not been dusted, cupboards still had dust inside and the shower basins had marks that simply needed a good wipe. The oven had not been cleaned at all. We did not get the services we paid for. As we needed in emergency I hadn’t properly checked other reviews but it is clear that this isn’t the first client this has happened to. Avoid at all costs.

I called Stella in the morning and had cleaning started on site same afternoon. Team arrived on time and did what they said will do..Yahyaa was great, absolutely spotless and detail cleaning. Very friendly and professional team. Stella and Yahyaa thank you very much for your timely support.
