He took time to explain to me the charity options available for some of my items. He provided me with a very competitive quotation and arrangements were made to carry out the house clearance. Steven and team did a really excellent job. They were extremely helpful as there was nobody at the property so needed to collect keys from various places and did quite a difficult job very professionally.

In October, I tried to arrange Harrow House Clearance to clear some rubbish on any weekday at 3pm, from a house I was moving out of. 'Steve' gave me a quote and kept telling me he'd get back to me but told me 3pm was out of the question as "all of the dumps close by 3pm at this time of year as it's darker and health and safety won't allow it". I contacted Harrow dump and also Rickmansworth dump to find out he lied to me. When I told him I'd arranged with someone else to clear the rubbish at 3pm and that the dumps are still open at that time in October, he said that he's the only one who knows and that the other Clearance Company I'd be going with, sound dodgy. He said if I continued to go with them, I could get a massive fine. I think he just preferred to do the job before 3pm but I'd have preferred some honesty.
From what I've read on previous reviews, he seems good when he's doing the job but unfortunately he messed me around.
