A1 Clearances

Well I'm a bit disappointed as it's like a massive warehouse of charity ship items. But at a huge price. Most of what the sell are vastly over priced . I know they have running costs and staff wages etc but even if they sold there stock at half the price they would still make money.
One thing that's cheap is the furniture.
They also have discount weekends.
I did however enjoy walking around and viewing what's on offer.

Outstanding service and a brilliant team. A1 Clearances recently helped to clear our family house before a move. The team was professional, smart, worked incredibly hard, most of all they were very kind and understanding with my mum who has been in the house for over 40 years. Love this place, so many good little finds if you’re not bothered about searching through for them. Staff are great. Came back this weekend, been back a bunch of times now and never disappointed. Food was amazing too

It's like a museum that you can buy from, wish we have found this place when we were setting up our first home. Some good stuff hidden away if your looking for cheap furniture or just a replacement for something. Also good to have a look for collectibles.

Used to be great now boxes are now sifted and shelved at top prices. Some items on shelves have been there months and not surprising. One woman who now works there is killing the place off. Was once a place for bargains. Not anymore got greedy

I had to empty my mum’s house after over a year of non occupancy. I had a quote from another company which was cheaper but seemed seedy. I spoke to Steve who came round and seemed very professional. He suggested removing the carpets which I hadn’t even thought of.
We arranged a date at 8am. I got there at 7.58am and there were 4 large trucks parked outside.
There were 4 young chaps, all very smiley and pleasant. I was a bit embarrassed about the state of the house but they were very reassuring. I asked how long they thought it may take and I suggested about 4pm. One of the lads said probably before 3pm. By this time they had spread about around the house.

I left them to it.

I got a phone call at 11.40am saying they would be finished in 20 mins. I was truly shocked. It was a large 3 bed semi, fully furnished.

I was charged, all inclusive £1440. This included some items in the garden, garage and garden shed.

I cannot praise this company highly enough, they were superb! They even found a key to the kitchen door, which I had no idea about, managed to open the garage door and front door which I hadn’t managed to do and left the curtains as they suggested it might be an idea to use them to suggest occupancy which hadn’t entered my head!

Absolutely fantastic! 10 out of 10!
