Not the greatest location, but if like me you have an early morning ferry to catch...then Leighton Court is ideal. This isn't an en-suite guest room, but the shower and toilet are directly outside the room.
For some reason the room has 2 VERY large skylights above the beds and this means that light comes into the room as soon as day breaks!!! I would strongly recommend some eye shades if you are affected by overly bright rooms?
Very friendly and welcoming manager and residents. Free WiFi, but be aware that parking is a huge issue. This scheme, like many...has about 6-8 spaces for RESIDENTS only...Anchor visitors from other schemes are NOT residents and must park off scheme.
Leighton Road has free parking, on a first come, first served basis, but don't fall foul of the double yellow lines...you will be ticketed.
There is a Morrison's and ASDA supermarket within 5 minutes walk, decent transport into Dover is a 6-7 minute walk. There are also 2-3 pubs.
