Barratt Homes - Deer's Rise

If you are thinking about buying a barratt home, I wouldnt waste your money! The poorest quality homes ever! The builders they use just bodge everything. Pipe work going diagonally across walls, wood savings and dust left under the cooker just waiting to catch fire, extractor fans not even connected for all the condensation is just being blown I to the walls with no means of escape. Poor drainage systems that fill the house up with sewerage smells, poor water drainage on external patio doors so the water eventually starts seeping through the internal walls causing damp!!
The customer service from barratts is horrendous! All they through back at you is that the house is not longer under warranty.
Save your money and but an older house everyone! Barratts are the biggest bodgers around!

New crammed in housing estate of odd differing designs that seem out of place on the periphery of Cannock Chase. They could have done a lot better....

Ever since the news houses were built - first at Deers Rise then at the Fallows we have been plagued by dog mess left around the field off the Bridleway and off Pye Green Road Pye Green Hednesford Staffs. This is pictures of one day's worth of dog mess. No bins at all - so the new residents of these sometimes 500,000 homes leave their dog's mess in a bag instead of taking it home. The bags are not biodegradable so this dog mess will enter the water table. I have asked both housebuilders to provide bins - 4 years later the problem is worse than ever. Goodwill to people who have lived here for over 30 years should surely come into it? Absolutely disgusting. Since I posted it there are more black dog bags deposited this morning. Hurry up with a dog bin and litter bin. Surely part of the infrastructure?

Love our new Barratt Home. Any problems have been swiftly sorted out by our site manager Sunny, he's made the whole experience a breeze. Top man.
