A new home site which is under development. The house quality is good, location is quite attractive as it is just next to the best school in Newport.

The infrastructure in not in place for this development. The traffic is already horrendous without 200 extra houses. The sire advertises the Doctors surgery; it is full, it advertises Bassaleg school; it is full! This village will not cope with these houses

My 77 year old Mother is still waiting-six months on-for someone to fix her gate at her Redrow home in Carnegie Court, Bassaleg. One botch job, several promises and many many phone calls later and still nothing. If they can't get a bricklayer to fix it on a site full of bricklayers then I despair.

Nice houses if you don't live near the river
