Creams Cafe

I attended creams on 01st September 2019, with my girlfriend, as we have previously visited before, and found the ice cream amazing, and had a great experience, and have since been regular customers.

However when we attended recently, I ordered a Waffle and my girlfriend ordered a Sundae. Her Sundae arrived, and I was waiting around 15 - 20 minutes for mine to arrive! The wait was completly unacceptable and when I asked the staff, why the delay, I was rudely told "We only have one waffle maker". I find this unacceptable. We ordered together, so we could eat our desserts together. Instead we both ate alone, as she obviosuly had to eat hers before it melted. This completly ruined my experience, and did not enjoy the experience.

To add this this, I made a complaint by the online system, with 2 follow up emails. I have been completly ignored, and not even received an apology.

Quite a poor restaurant. The crepes are dry and cold no chocolate sauce inside the crepe just on the top. The cookie dough wasn’t even warm the cookies were tasteless.

I was craving chocolate so ordered the chocolate indulgence waffle. Which is basically a slice of chocolate brownie cake on top of a waffle then snothered in chocolate sauce. Definately hit the spot! Annoyingly I couldn't eat the last few mouthfuls as it was very filling but absolutely delicious, perfect for a chocolate cake lover 😋

bad service, rude and ignorant staff . I have never been treated so poorly anywhere else as at Epsom Creams. The staff are completely unprepared. They are completely ignorant of everything. As we were in work clothes, they came and said we couldn't use the toilet. because it was just for customer. And my husband and I were customers. It was extremely embarrassing and humiliating the way they approached us to tell us about not being able to use the toilet. And the waffle was without strawberries and lots of bananas. without any chocolate on top. I'm never coming back.

Several mishaps with this store while ordering on Deliveroo and today was the last straw with being told the delivery was made when it wasn’t. Apparently the driver arrived and I didn’t collect my food so they marked it as delivered, even though there was no knock, or call and now I have a 5yr old repeatedly asking me where the food is and apparently I don’t get a refund either - previously they changed my order without prior notification. It’s unfortunate.

If you are looking for something savoury alongside a dessert I would not recommend trying the nachos - badly presented, cheap, artificial tasting and far too expensive. Highly disappointing and Creams you should be embarrassed with what you served. The replacement waffle was however tasty. Sadly, I will not be returning here again. The staff are not equipped to manage complaints or queries.

Super friendly people, tasty food, spacious and clean shop! Overall it’s a great place to spend time with friends and family! Strongly recommended if you are a dessert lover!
