Took a small group here (5 grown ups 3 under 11s) after a few hours on the beach. Staff were friendly and helpful. Service was speedy. We didnt need to book in advance- they moved two tables together for us) There were lovely views across the sea and the sundaes were delicious! I can recommend the Mint Sundae and Chockablocka Sundae. They are reasonabled priced and the perfect size (the 10 and 8 year old had an adult sundae and finished it!) Would recommend!

We always love Cadwaladers. The ice cream is so creamy, smooth and tasty. It was a delight to visit the original shop. It only loses 1 star because we asked our waitress to identify a photo of a sundae on the front of the menu and she didn't know and didn't have any intention of finding out... shame.

4 star is a bit unfair as my only gripe was that they were not able to serve anything on their savories menu as they were too busy with ice creams. We were seated and kids prepped to eat a toastie before ice cream...and boom!
But they did serve some great ice cream so that kept them high on my 4 star list and well worth a visit even if you have to queue.
Lovely views out over the sea, well kept and well presented ice cream shop

Had jacket potato and beans, followed by these beauties from the ice cream menu. And yes, it was all as delicious as it looks.

Delicious food and drinks- the tastiest pumpkin spice latte I’ve ever had!

The only thing that maybe needs improvement is the kids meal- for the price it was disappointing and presentation wasn’t great.

We had such a great experience we came back for ice cream- out of this world!! And my little boy who doesn’t like ice cream had a milkshake, and the whole thing was drunk!!!

Great little cafe with views over the sea and castle

My husband called in to get himself an ice-cream and we were surprised to find dairy free ice creams for myself and my daughter who has a serious dairy allergy. They were by far the best dairy free ice creams we've had! So creamy and delicious 🙂

Lovely dog friendly cafe with a beautiful view. We’ve been here many times and each visit has been enjoyable. Coffee is delicious, toasties and jacket spuds are yummy. Staff are very smiley and friendly. Efficient service. Consistently good and worth visiting.
