Not much events, Getting bookings for birthday parties, good parking

Expensive tickets with no discount for children unless they are under 4, 1/2 ticket cost again to hire a learning/safety device, no wonder it wasn't that busy, surely it would be better from a business perspective to make the safety device freely available and provide a discount for kids to encourage families to keep going! If a single visit cost are high, imagining continuing so a child could learn is difficult for some people and driving from out of town doesn't help. Not a bad day out just dress for cold, coat, scarf, gloves etc.

My 5 year old has just finished his first 6 weeks course.

Signed him back up for another 6 weeks he loves it.

The staff are really friendly and are really good coaches.

Kids loved it... I found the hard plastic skates painful and inflexible. It wasn't overcrowded and there is plenty of seating. Several in our group came along as spectators... I will probably do the same next time... and yes, we will be returning 😆ideal outing for groups. There was roughly 20 of us on this occasion. The family vouchers available meant a saving of 25 pound for my family.. so check them out!

I have always taken my eldest daughter skating as she used to have lessons but this was the first time my youngest had been. The hire cost for the aids was ridiculous at £7.50 each. And when I picked it up at the counter, after paying, I was then told the hire period was for 1hr only????
Needless to say, I didn't take it back after an hr. Having paid almost £50 for the pleasure of using the ice, I didn't think charging a further £7.50 to assist a beginner was justified!!!
The rink itself was fine. Ice was in reasonable condition and staff were mostly helpfull. I just think that the costing system could do with a little work.

Great Ice rink, Olympic sized and well maintained. Really friendly staff and very clean including the toilets! Skates can be blunt so feel free to ask for a sharper pair. Completed the 3 day intensive skate Excellence course too!

We had a thoroughly enjoyable time ice skating and staff were really helpful!
Only negative was on the website it said the “ penguins “ ( skate aids for small children ) were free , yet they were £7 an hour each which bumped the price up from £60.40 to £74.40 for 4 of us. So next time I think we will be going to another venue which will be £61 for everything included!

Some parts of this ice rink was nice but it was ruined a little by the service of a staff member. Took far too long to come to the desk even after ringing the bell. There was no apology for the wait and just took the skates without a word. The ice wasn't the best quality and there was some skaters going stupidly fast with no team member to be seen to slow them down.
