Homefield Preparatory School

My son has been at Homefield for 3 years and it has been a fantastic school for his development both academically and socially. The school has a great balance of sport too which is very important for boys. It's great that the school offers Rugby, Football, Cricket, Swimming, Tennis, Hockey and basketball. The teachers are engaging and if there is ever a problem, they are easily contactable. Of course you get boys there that are not perfect and can cause trouble (you get this at every school frankly) however we have been pleased with the way the school handles situations. I know a lot of boys who get into Grammar Schools coming from Homefield but I also know that if boys are not suited to Grammar Schools, it gives your child a strong foundation to go elsewhere and achieve results. We are very pleased we chose Homefield School. The 4pm school finish is fantastic for working parents (less money spent on childcare).

Thanking you for your support through difficult times and for looking after the welfare of our little boy through to transfer to high school. He is now knowledgeable in a breadth of subjects, current affairs and has a good moral standards and values. Hats off to you and staff.

I spent a very productive and enjoyable day at the school earlier this term, having been commissioned to provide some new photography for ongoing Marketing requirements.
The day was well planned and consequently ran very smoothly and staff and pupils were both friendly and helpful.

Our twins have been at Homefield since Reception. We have found the school very welcoming and our boys are extremely happy . What we were looking in a school was overall development of the child including good pastoral care. The teachers and staff are very friendly and approachable. I am sure the boys will excel in any field they choose to pursue .

Every time I go to Homefield I come away so impressed by the attitude, comportement and minds of the boys at this school. They are kind, thoughtful, curious, diverse, well-balanced and show an impressive level of emotional intelligence for children of that age. Not to mention the fact that they seem pretty smart too!
