Both of our children have thrived at Avenue House. We wanted a mixed-gender non-selective school, and Avenue House provides just that. What we did not expect was the strength in depth of both teaching and pastoral support, tailored to the particular needs of each child. Parents who wish to are able to get involved with each other and the school - there is a strong sense of community. We trust the headmaster (Mr Sheppard) and his team to do their very best by our children. He has always made himself available to answer our questions and to deal with the occasional issues our children have faced. We cannot imagine a better environment for our children to start their education and development.

My son has been here for 3 years. The school is amazing. He is nurtured, stretched, enjoys off-site sports and a vast array of after-school clubs. It really is his 'second family'. Great social cohesion amongst the parents too. He really benefits from a co-ed system. The leavers' destinations is also impressive. Unreservedly recommend it.
