Bishop Challoner School

All staff at this school are brilliant, really helpful and I feel that my child (year 6) is receiving everything he needs at this school and his teachers have been great at keeping us updated with his school life and class lessons. As a parent my requirements are simple, a very safe, and nurturing environment for my child with exceptional care but above all definitely an enabling environment where my child can grow as an individual.The primary school is the epitome of cleanliness, the staff are polite, friendly and keep me well informed about my child's progress or what I can do to help with his development.The refurbishment recently made outside are really wonderful and safe for children to play in.They go extra mile and every child has a smile.This school is good for parents who are actually looking for all-round option, brains engaged, opportunities to get involved in loads of different activities like math competitions, chess tournaments and many other sport competitions etc. Overall I am very pleased!

I don't recognise the negative comments below. Our daughter has attended the school since Year 7 and will be leaving this year after A Levels. She has thrived there. It's a wonderful, nurturing environment and I would recommend it to anyone.

Small inclusive independent school. Very nurturing and my child has enjoyed her time here. Weekly newsletter is informative and keeps me on the ball as teens tend to forget!

My daughter started in Year 8, she instantly felt a part of the school community. ‘She says the teachers can be strict but they are very kind’. She has also made friends with other young people who attend the school and they have form a very supportive network.

I have found the school’s communication and liaison with parents to be of a very high standard; teachers communicate frequently and provide feedback on my daughter’s progress. She has really begun to excel in most of her subjects.

I think the small school environment, excellent pastoral support and good teaching has really allowed my daughter to flourish and thrive as a young person. She arrives home from school - always happy! As a parent you couldn’t really ask for more than that.

As an ex pupil myself, I was very excited to send my four children to this school. The school has been nothing short of magnificent, shaping my children into young gentleman and lady. The pastoral care is excellent with the children receiving attention and real care. The school also has an amazing sense of community with a real family feeling amongst parents. Results have been excellent and i have seen my children really bloom in recent years. This school is highly recommended to any parents that want their children to receive excellent education, support and a sense of belonging.

My son joined the school in year 6; from the first month at school, I saw a completely different child; Happy and confident, that he missed in his previous school. He loves going to school, enjoys education and atmosphere of creativity, care and compassion. I strongly recommend Bishop Challoner School!!

Got bullied for things I couldn’t control by students and staff. It go so bad that I left the country, leaving was the best decision I ever made!

My secondary school has meant everything to me since my first day in year 7. Everything about BCS is amazing: students, teachers, facilities, etc. Bishop Challoner School will always have a special place in my heart 💙
