My children have flourished since starting at Hopelands. They are happy, confident children and love going to school.

Both of my daughters absolutely love Hopelands. The eldest has now left, but still talks about how great the teachers were.

I have found Hopelands to provide a wonderful start to our children's education. Small class sizes enables the teachers to quickly identify any areas of weakness and specifically help our child in those areas. There is a great ethos throughout the school with children encouraged to mix with each year group and older pupils setting good examples to the younger ones.
I thoroughly recommend Hopelands especially if you are looking for your child to go into a secondary grammar school.

Super little school. One of the best in country based on rankings. Our children are very happy here. The staff are wonderful. Highly recommended if you can find a space.

My son attended Hopelands from reception to year 6 and has now just moved up to secondary school. He loved his time at Hopelands and was sad to leave for secondary school. The school is a fantastic small and caring school. We chose the school for its small class sizes, individual attention to pupils needs and flexible before and after school care. The teachers know all the pupils across the school and subject specialist teachers enhance the teaching and learning. My daughter joined the school in reception and is now in year 4. She has also benefitted from the small class sizes and individual attention. Both my children are very different academically and both have been supported to achieve their best at the school. We love the specialist whole school days (European day of languages/studying other countries) that are put on regularly, all staff go above and beyond to ensure the pupils have a great time

Hopelands is a friendly, welcoming school that offers children an extremely positive experience both academically and for personal development. Subjects are taught by specialist, secondary-trained teachers, and it shows in the level and detail of work that is covered, and the way teaching is delivered. It's a fantastic preparation for schooling after 11, as the children are used to working with subject-specialists and being challenged and supported to go beyond what might normally be covered at primary level. As well as academic subjects, there are a range of sports and club activities that the children can get involved in. My wife and I have absolutely no regrets in sending our son to Hopelands, and would recommend it wholeheartedly to other families.
