Melton spice

Just used the website to place and order, it was nice, simple and food was ready to collect in no time!
When I collected my order, I was greeted by two very friendly members of staff who gave my order to me and we had a great chat...and the food is great too! Would recommend :)

Visited this weekend whilst staying in Kettleby lakes nearby. Choose due to some good reviews. Friendly greeting on arrival and shown to table. Ordered popadoms and chutney which were warm and tasty. Then prawn purée each followed by a mixed grill and a lamb tikka masala. Starter was a generous portion. The prawns were overcooked and very chewy. Left all mine on the plate. Mains arrived and same story, all meats were tough and chewy as old leather and obviously all precooked and even the rice tasted odd. Left most of it, complained and got one main dish removed from the bill but was very disappointed with the food generally. The two stars are given for the friendly service but if this place is to flourish under new management then the quality of the meat offering needs to be looked at quickly. We wouldn’t bother returning.

Delivered on time or maybe a little early. Friendly delivery man wishing me a good evening, very professional. Food was delicious, would recommend everything I tried. I find Indian takeaways in general to be quite pricy compared to other types of cuisine but this one had an offer which made it quite reasonable, especially given the quality.

literally the best curry ive ever had. my wife and i visted melton with my two young kids. we ordered 2 meals off the exemplary part of the menu as we always try chef specials. ive never had anything so good in any other restaurant. we live 90 mins away. id drive there just for the curry

Placed an order through a popular 3rd party ordering facility, time of delivery arrived and passed. 30 mins after this order was still awaiting confirmation! Not able to contact restaurant and received a refund from ordering facility. So annoying and would not recommend Melton Spice 😞

Fresh tasty food, always delivered nice and hot and mostly a little earlier than expected. Very friendly staff. Thankyou all 😁

Ordered meal to be delivered. 45 minutes was acceptable. It arrived after 25 minutes. Great service, fantastic food, good price. Would definitely use again and recommend.
