Biggest joke in Watford.

Nowhere near as good as the below reviewers state.

Dirtiest tableware I have ever seen.

The music is Latino/salsa/south american????

Food - bland, wattery, greasy, unseasoned strange mess. To add, a warm glass of water. Loved when they tried to overcharge me for a started (almost double price), then tried to blame it on their computer not calculating it properly.

Staff take forever to get to you. I waited 45 mins to have the bill presented to me. Maybe they didn't like that I asked for a clean plate? Waiter is on the phone when placing things on your table.
Arguments among staff, and the owner... swearing and loud confrontational language in front of customers. Customers get sarcastic comments when they ask how long they still have to wait for their food.

Above all, the waiter became confrontational when I asked where my change was. Reluctant to give it over, they ended up giving it in 1 and 2 penny coins. I took it all, as I wasn't going to tip after their performance.

What a comedy.

Do not take a date here. EVER!

Do not take yourself there either for that matter.

You have been warned.

Having been a regular customer for years and years, I can safely say this is the best food in Watford. Delicious. Kind staff and again, even more delicious!

Had a great night at the restaurant, the food was absolutely delicious and the staff were very helpful and friendly especially as my daughters are vegan. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to others

Great selection of food and very tasty, although dishes not as hot (spicy) as I would have expected. An extremely warm welcome from the owner who was very attentive. Also, prices are very reasonable too with a starter and main with a pint being under £20 Would definately revisit.

A splendid family service ..unique healthy and delicious food.. easy parking so an excellent experience - I recommend the Nihari Gosht ( melt in your mouth skow stewed and clayoven roasted Lamb Shank dripping in a sweet n spicy pomegranate sauce served with Pilau Rice or Nan bread. Or go for a Sizzling Tandoori Monkfish platter. We also tried a superb lime and chilli chicken all of which are unique to the Monsoon Restaurant. Traditional karahi and clay oven roasted authentic health focused Punjabi dishes I have tried before are also fantastic.

You must try it. 10 /10.

Terrible food and service, don't waste time or money eating here, when there are better restaurants in Watford.

Best Indian/Palistani food in town by a mile. Great service.
2018 update - Sadly, no longer the case. After the chef left it went downhill. And closed.
