Green Spice

Fantastic food and service and coincidentally the owner went to the same primary school as I did, so got a little discount too :-)
The food was great, ordered Lamb Chops (Starter), Garlic / Chilli Chicken (not for the feint hearted), Chicken Shaslick and King Prawn Tandoori....the latter which was amazing; lovely red colour and very tender with a charcoal taste. I usually don't order king prawn, very expensive in most places, but I'm glad I did, by far the best dish of the night. I would definitely go back and King Prawn Tandoori is a given 😋

This place never used to have a good reputation but they have hired new chefs which has transformed the quality of their food.
This was honestly one of the best Indians we had in quite some time. The Jalfrezi was amazing, the service on point.
It also has a car park which is convenient.

What a shame. Poor service. Nice food, but like eating in the most clinical and sterile environment. Lacked any atmosphere completely. Very strange restaurant. Nothing traditional about it and nothing very comfortable. Service is really poor. Staff seem untrained and unsure. Table service forgotten with only 4 tables inside eating. Won’t be returning.

What has happened to this good curry house. They refurbished it into some weird lifeless no atmosphere room. The staff are literaly joke. They laugh amongst themselves at how poor the entire set up is We finished our main course which was just about edible and the slapped the bill on the table without asking. People were actually walking out. It's the Indian equivalent of Fawlty Towers. Honestly avoid at all costs unless you fancy laugh and terrible food.

How to lose a customer....
I have ordered from here from when it opened years ago and notices a slight decline in the food and service but today was the last one.
Ordered for my sons birthday and was told it would be longer than normal which we accepted but the food took 2 hours.
On arrival i could tell by the temperature and texture of the meat that this was not freshly cooked and was barely warm with containors half full. This food was definitley premade and microwaved & no where near as nice as it has been previously.
To add insult to injury when i complained politely expecting some level of service i got a refusal of accepting responsibility and that they would sort out the same dish next time i order. Il save green spice the trouble as there will never be a need.
Shocked at how little value is placed on local customers.
Hope noone else has this experience

Nice food but be prepared for a two hour wait! With countless calls and lies about how long the order will be!
Happened many times now and will not use them again!

Just had a curry. Turned up late , curry cold, bhajis completely inedible. Won’t be ordering from here again.

Rooms are nice, the biggest let down was the air conditioning didn't seem to work and the room was so hot. No WiFi.
