I was pleasanty surprised by the beautiful decoration, was quite unique for the location. The staff were excellent and prompt. The food was absolutely delicious and the portion size was generous. My favourite was the Succulent Salmon Curry, that had the right amount of kick I needed as I love my spice and King Prawn Puri's was pretty scrumptious!!! Me and my mates was delighted with everything. The drinks were refreshing too, so Thank You!!! 5* defoe will be returning and recommending :).

We were in the neighbourhood but I can happily drive down for an hour to have their tandoori chicken. Absolutely smashing flavours!

Overpriced for the quality over food delivered. Ordered a king prawn madras and came with shells.. ordered this dish countless times from many other restraints and I have not once received shells in my dish.. the madras was way too spicy too. There was 3 prawns in the dish which I was charged £11 for. The garlic naan with cheese and there was minimal cheese despite asking for extra cheese. Delivery was speedy but I would not recommend.

Food was mediocre, prawn bhuna was not as flavoursome as I expected. My partner had an Indian mixed grill which again was not overly flavoursome and not particularly generous for the price. Delivery was pretty quick. Wouldn’t rush to order again but wouldn’t outright refuse either.

The tandoori mixed grill did not taste like it was marinated, the spices chips were chips withs spice sprinkled on them.
The prawn bhuna was watery and lacked flavour.
The keema nann was mediocre at best.
I’m glad we ordered the onion bhaji as this was perfect.
It was meant to be a perfect surprise take away for my partner but left us feeling disappointed….thinking may a pizza may have been a better idea :(

I had my first curry from here last night and it was delicious. Lots of flavour and not oily/ greasy. Highly recommended

Orderd a phaal and pathia last night, as usual it was absolutely delicious. If you order from anywhere else you've made a big mistake!

Absolutely fantastic food, by far the best Indian restaurant in Hitchin. We’ve had at least 5 takeaways in the past 6 months and all have been delicious. Perhaps not as well known as it should be because it’s not located in the centre of town, but believe me this is the place to go for Indian food in Hitchin.
