Great Vindaloo, hot but not overwhelming. I really liked the Adrak Lamb, with an aromatic and slightly sweet ginger sauce. Bring your own beer/wine, well worth a visit!

Great food. Slow and somewhat non- responsive service. I had to wait a long time for a glass of water as they wanted to first take order, and lay table etc tec before serving just a glass of water.

I don`t have much experience with Indian food but this works for me. Meat was cooked perfectly and there wasn't one dish we didn't enjoyed. My husband and I left this place feeling so full and satisfied. It is an old restaurant, don`t expect a fancy decor or anything but it was clean, service was fast and food was delicious. Our waiter asked if we liked our food, that means they trust what they serve, in my book.

Very good restaurant for Indian food. Nice staff and very Indian taste. Faluda was extra sweet. Veg platter was very nice…

This is certainly one of the best Indian restaurant, and being an Indian, I can assure I have eaten in hundreds of restaurants.
I was a bit hesitant to try the place because it was empty, but my concerns were soon laid to rest. Every item we tried was perfect. I had the mixed grill as the starter and the Kashmiri lamb shank with rice as the main dish.
The place does not serve alcohol but has a policy of BYOW (Bring your own wine) which is very easy to do since there is a wine shop just across the road.

This restaurant has established since 1950's and run by the same family, the current chef has awarded various awards. Food is traditional British Indian cuisine. And reasonable priced now you can bring your own alcoholic drinks and the restaurant do no sell alcoholic drinks.

Very nice service, friendly people and thinking along with suggestions for combinations of dishes. Food was very good and sufficient portions sizes. Happy to go back.
