Simply the finest Indian and Bangladeshi dining experience in Stafford! Abu, the proprietor and brains behind the amazing menu, is the perfect restaurateur - always on the ball and keeping a close eye over everything. If you are looking for a bog standard balti, then this place is not for you! All of the dishes are original, freshly cooked and very, very delicious.

Malabar is an unpretentious Indian restaurant that is easy to find from the Notting Hill Gate tube station. We enjoyed Indian food that was spicy yet delicate, and very tasty! Service was professional, friendly and unhurried. Each of us felt that we received a good value -- very good food and drink without overpaying. We return each time we're in London.

Had a lovely dinner with my sisters at this restaurant in November on our last night in London. We were on holiday from Canada. Friendly staff, good food. Reasonable prices. They were very busy with more guests coming in with reservations yet we were never made to feel rushed.

A very normal any day home Indian food. If you're Indian and thinking to go here for Indian Restaurant food the please think again. The entire pallette is conservative to say the least to satisfy more westerners. Daal was good but the way its cooked is something that my mother would cook if I had bad stomach, spice less.... I wonder when Indian chefs will man up and serve the real authentic flavors.... And it is expensive as F...

Haven't been here for a very long time. Food was lovely even though it still takes some getting used to eating off steel plates. I had chicken dansak and the best freshest okra ever ➕ a naan. All delicious.
Clearly a popular place and rightly so. Service was faultless.

This is an amazing place for Indian food and what tops the chart is the customer service. I was served by Sachin and he makes me feel absolutely wonderful. Food served on time and I see all happy faces around enjoying their Indian meal. Kudos and keep up the good work guys!!

Worried this place is declining. I've been going here for years-almost 15- and returned tonight after a long hiatus. Food was served just barely warm. A few of the dishes were good but the Bhindi was not the way they used to make it. Server was lovely and professional. Malabar Prawns Masala were very overpriced for 4 prawns. Malabar please return to your old ways. Please.

We ordered the Rosé wine on the wine list and were served a different one. It was poured without a taste being offered or being told it was different to the wine list. Queried this with the waitress and she said it was a substitute the other had run out. No apology and only acknowledge when we looked at the label. It was from Spain not France.
The King prawn curry was very watery. Nan bread was good. There are much better Indian restaurants in London.
