We love the food at this place and have become quite frequent visitors. Unexpected find. They did use to have some flashing lights inside that really ruined the mood, but now they are off you can really concentrate on the complicated and delicate flavours the chefs create. Unassuming exterior, but trust me the food is fantastic!

Awful, avoid at all cost, booked for 2 at lunch time, no other customers should have been a red flag, no atmosphere at all, asked for background music to eleviated the dead silence, one song played then silence again, phone rings continually but no one answered the only background noise, poor service as only 1 staff apart from chefs, poor knowledge of menu, long wait for food starter which was lacking just eatable, even the commlamentry poppadoms stale, when main arrived 1hr 10 min later looked like someone had opened bowel in bowl, did not even attempt to eat.
Would definitely NOT recommend.
Worst resturant experience ever
Paid for drinks and starter and left ASAP

We moved into the area a year ago and we still haven’t got bored of Delhi Live. The mehti malai kofta is our go to. If you want authentic Indian food - Delhi Live is highly recommended!

This is the only genuine authentic Indian Punjabi Restaurant in Romford. So close to the station on Victoria Road. Absolutely an excellent place to eat for Vegetarian or meat eating "

Don't go here. Starters came up stone cold. Waited over an hour and a half for the main course. Paid for what we had and left. Awful service and won't be going back there ever.

I've shared two pictures, one of what a Chicken Jalfrezi should look like, the over in the container what Delhi Live chefs think it should look like.

I picked up a flu, bug or something and feel terrible so thought I'd cheer myself up and burn away the germs with a nice delivery. I've ordered before so know the food is good and spicy authentic so go for my usual Chicken Jalfrezi and Lamb Madras.

Food comes a few mins later than originally scheduled but that's fine I think as it will be worth it.

To my horror when I open the bag I see what looks like a Korma, dairy not being a friend of mine in the dietary sense I always steer clear of anything creamy hence the choices of non creamy curries.

I smell and taste and yep it does have the kick of a Jalfrezi but also that creamy texture and horrid milky brown appearance of a Korma. I'm not happy.

I requested a refund from Just Eat and then called the restaurant to complain and ask if it's a new chef as this isnt how it usually comes and I've never had a Jalfrezi (even the microwave meals) like this before and never want one again.

The manager was patient and listened but kept assuring me it wasn't a Korma, this much I knew already but that isn't the point as it wasn't a Jalfrezi either and that's what I ordered.

With budgets tight when you treat yourself you want it to be a treat, not a trick you end up regretting and spoils the night and enjoyment. I will not be ordering from here again which is a shame as it once was a decent place to get food from but seems like things have changed.

Disappointing Kali mirch (black pepper) chicken. As you can see from the photo lacked black pepper and I'm sure there wasn't any in the dish. Rang up to tell them but they informed me that there was crushed black pepper. If the name of the dish is Kali mirch chicken then the main taste should me black pepper as it should over power any other taste/flavour. I much prefer the South Indian (Kerala) version cooked in ghee or butter where you can see and taste lots of black pepper. This was a poor show. On the flip side the hariyali chicken tikka was great and strongly recommend this as a starter as it's packed with flavour.
