Taj Restaurant

If you like authentic Indian food this is not the place for you. If you like Indian food made for English people you will love it. The nans are fluffy and bit too sweet, the chicken tikka is bright red and the mint sauce is sweet and yellow. The staff are really nice and very accommodating. The restaurant is very clean and spacious now they have removed some tables for social distancing. The front sinage has been changed from the one in the Google pic. I will be going there again.

Have not dined out at a Curry House for a long while now, Taj Restaurant did not disappoint. From the Mixed Grilled platter to the Biriyani, Chicken Bhuna, Prawn and Keema Naan everything was fresh and delicious down to every bite. The server was friendly, helpful and always on hand. Kitchen service was prompt yet they did not compromise on the quality of the food. The manager, lovely fellow, catered to us celebrating our sons birthday allowing us to have our cake we bought in from outside to finish off a wonderful evening. Worth every penny. Would definitely go back here again.

Everyone thinks their local curry house is the best, but this one really is something else. I've probably been visiting this place monthly for the past 18 years and it has never once disappointed. The food is always exceptional. Never a dry bit of chicken to be seen. The team who work here are among the friendliest I've met. It's always a pleasure. Move aside Brick Lane's Curry Mile - you're nothing but a pale imitation of the Taj Elm Park. Thank you for consistently being top-notch.

Just had the best Meal from a takeaway for a very long time it was beautiful me and my wife very happy and full

Went here for the first time 3 weeks ago and I've been there for the last three Saturdays. I like it. Had really good food and really good service. I've given it 5 Stars because I think it's worth more than 4. Reasonable prices and the fact that you can take your own drink makes it a cheaper night. Definitely worth a try.

Very good authentic food from the South. Meat dishes are really nice. Chicken Byriani is a must, however ask for a bit more spice it gives it a good kick. I have tried a lot of curry houses in the area, by far this is the best in the RM area..

Was attracted by a new refurbishment.
But limited drinks and waiters rushing you with everything.
Orderd a chicken tikka masala and rice, wouldn't be surprised if I make it through the night without throwing up as the chicken was soft and feel the layers of the chicken on biting compared to the normal grilled texture.

Not impressed with the dishing out of condiments for the poppadom done in sight of public view.

Overall I wouldn't return here

First time I have used the Tag restaurant would have given 3.5 stars but can’t do that. Food tasted good order online very impressed replied and told me it would be at a time and was on time. My big problem was to much oil in food spoilt for me. I’ve been eating Indian food food for since I was 18 years old now 63 and still love it sorry to oily thank you
