Very nicely decorated real blue lagoon in 3d image .beautiful surrounding with nice light srilankan /Tamil music .food is excellent with starters such as lamb chops,devil style calamari fish (squids)and traditional Madras style chicken 65 with roasted tandoori chicken .still love the spicy salty flavour of anchovies bring heaven and earth.lovely Sri Lankan flavours with coconut with spices in all curries.specially the prawn curry and fried fish curry complement the north Indian garlic naan . Masala dosa with chutney sambal make the vegetarian full meal to cut the protein filled starters ..

Ambience: Restaurant was a building site whilst open. Looks messy and unappealing along with it being freezing cold. One dude was stood over another table desperately trying to fix the AC.Builders passing by our table every 2 min, painter glossing away 2 meters away. Lights were also too bright and gave the over all illusion of a building sight canteen.
Service/Drinks: Waitress was charming but inept, didn’t know much about the menu and especially the drinks offering (they weren’t offered). We went with Tea as we were feeling the bite of the cold ambience. They took 20min to arrive though we were offered an apology. There seemed to be a large delay overall, even though there were only 6 of us in the restaurant.
Food: Hopper- Unavailable (after ordering) Dosa- Stone cold as was the sambal and really greasy Mutton Roll- uncooked and cold in the middle, otherwise tasty Mogo- Indo-Chinese seasoning but rather bland and again undercooked and cold Chilli Paneer- Same seasoning as the mogo and nothing spectacular Khati- We wanted to get out so took it home with us as we had waited 35 min. Pretty nice (we heated up)
We are local and sadly won’t be spreading the love about this place. Though I can see the charm of a family business on our doorstep, they have already lost thousands in reputational value to make a quick buck by opening way before they are ready to. This review is not designed to deter future custom but moreover give the restaurant some honest feedback.
This has been in our top 3 worst restaurants we have visited. We eat out a lot and were looking for somewhere reasonable in our locality, our search goes on. Crawl before you walk guys..

The place got free WiFi... great service... they have displayed there food professionally!! Every food we’ve ordered got a strong flavour!! I recommend you order Tandoori Platter and Seafood Platter!! They have a private hall just to celebrate birthday or special occasions. I had an amazing experience celebrating my friend’s birthday, the team made it successful and possible with their positive vibes.

The food was AMAZING! Especially the king prawns dish, the staff were very attentive and polite. Would definitely go there again and recommend this restaurant. Even the atmosphere is beautiful with the wall designs, this is now one of my favourite restaurant! Thank you so much Blue Lagoon!🥰💞

The four of us booked for 7pm. It was cold outside and it was cold inside. The entire experience was bizarre. Upon arriving we waited for whoever to sit us at a table. Once designated and settled with menus, fifteen minutes passed with no service. Once we ordered, drinks and food, took another fifteen minutes trying to understand the waiter trying to communicate in English and to ensure our orders were understood. Eventually we got drinks, one of my mates had to get her own drink from the bar, and explain to the bar man about white wine being best served chilled. Started came in due course. They were fantastic. Forty minutes later, after enquiring about the main dishes whilst ordering another round and trying to communicate with our waiter, a waitress swiftly took over. Drinks and three dishes arrived. I was starving and still waiting for my dish to arrive, all the while a rave in the next area, partitioned off; heaving heavy drum and bass, trance mixed up to a jungle hip hop “Diddy Wasn’t in Da House”, and the continuous arrival and exits of weed aromatic swathed individuals, banging it out in an area partition by maybe a 1.5cm diving partition. The music was so loud, the cutlery was falling off the table. Lol. My food hadn’t come. My friend stormed to staff me never, demanding the food come. I laughed. Eventually, once my three mates had finished their meal, mine arrived. It was amazing. All the food was on the mark. Service, training and make a decisions whether you want a nightclub, or, a very good restaurant that serves well above average food. I cannot be angry, because, I’m some way, I was fully entertained and the staff were polite. The facility was clean. Ok the staff need a little more confidence and some training in areas. And I would warn people about the events you guys provide. All in all. I will come again. Maybe a take away. Maybe a party. Lol.

Friendly service for a leaving do. Great place to try out a few dishes that I had never experienced. Loved the dosa and crispy cauliflower. Small and smoothly run.
