Not often I give 5 stars, however, this is based on my first experience in the restaurant.

Narrow building construction with space for approx 60 people. Probably best to book during weekends especially in peak times - Mrs P and I didn’t book but we were still accommodated

We had popadoms to start with. Then I had chicken and mushroom rogan josh and Mrs P had one of the special dishes, both dishes were complimented with rice and naan breads - 2 pints of draft lager for me whilst Mrs P had a gin and tonic

All this came to just over £40 - great value

Clean restaurant and pleasant helpful staff and with all this said this is why the review has resulted in 5 stars

Had a top curry tonight with my dad, food and service were all you could want, unfortunately two elderly couples decided to kick up a fuss, with the staff and customers, about their bill, claiming their card payment had gone through even when the staff politely informed (through showing the card machine)them that the payment had been rejected. The old couples did eventually pay, the staff dealt very politely and professionally with the issue and made the remaining customers feel fine and looked after

Good and friendly staff especially the tall guy with glasses, amazing character. My favourite curry was the Naaz special beautiful curry. I'd recommend ordering the chapattis, they are hand made and they taste beautiful.

First review: Food was delicious and service was great. All of the food was great but the Shahee Murgh was incredible!! Highly recommended.

I can see why everyone else said this place is so good! Very friendly and polite staff and go out of their way to be flexible. Amazing food… it’s my new favourite!

Look I enjoyed the meal but after we collected the meal we went back onto the menu to find out if we ordered the EXACT same meal after we did ours it would have cost us £1.94 more. They updated the prices within the time of collecting it. That’s not a good impression and I will continue my Indian takeaway obsession at passage to India in Crewe it also tastes better 🤤
Tried someone new and wasn’t impressed tastes like a normal bland Indian but passage to India is another level.
Their Chicken tikka masala is now £9.95 yet passage to India is £7.95 with bigger chunks of chicken and also takes 😩 way better 🫡

Coming from Manchester I’ve spoilt for choice but… I can’t fathom why Indian restaurants in Nantwich and Crewe can’t get onion rice right… also my personal opinion the dishes were bland… I ordered a chicken bhuna which the taste is nothing like a bhuna… the chicken tasted frozen.

Brilliant food, vegan options, friendly service, and great prices. Can't complain at all.
