Passage To India

Food was good but it’s pretty steep pricing. We also had to wait ages for food it was really busy but no one was really communicating with us etc to say how long it would be / did we want more drinks. Defo on the better side of the food options in Lyndhurst but make sure you book!!

Excellent establishment,, atmosphere was great. Can't fault the staff, very attentive. Food was superb, can't wait to go back. We had a brilliant evening. A big thank you to all the staff and especially Raj for looking after the Purdie clan.

Four of us spent Friday evening (14/10/22) here. No complaints, the food and service were excellent. The restaurant is beautiful inside and spotlessly clean. This is the best Indian restaurant in the New Forest.

Very crowded and humid, no air flow at all or air con. Felt claustrophobic. Food OK tasted like nice flavours but my chicken was not very good, chicken pieces in the curry not great but alot of curry houses tend to do that as you can't see it properly think they throw all the bits in. Wouldn't go again.

Warm and welcoming atmosphere,beautiful food and excellent service. We came for a meal on a Saturday evening, it was busy and a great atmosphere. My friend has a food allergy and in the past this has been an issue for other restaurants but not here ...the staff and chef went out of their way to make her experience comfortable and nothing was too much trouble.
We love visiting this area and will definitely be back.

Had a wonderful dinner at Passage to India. The food was excellent, very tasty and fresh, and the staff were so pleasant and helpful.Good value for money. Atmosphere was fantastic. Would highly recommend to anyone, including families with children. Our youngest family member at 2.5 yrs also had a wonderful time and was very well catered for. Delicious all round!

Very nice indeed. Nice atmosphere, both waiters very attentive but also discreet, food excellent, lots of veggie options, flavours brilliant. Slightly embarrassed at the card machine offering different size tips, which was awkward. However, don't let that put you off, absolutely banging evening!

Had a family meal here. There were about 14 of us, including 4 young children. Fantastic service, some of the best service we've seen for an Indian restaurant. Food was excellent.

I was worried we might be a bit loud as a group of 14, but the staff were great, bringing out party poppers, constantly checking on us for drinks. They are great hosts.

Really impressed. Great location in Lyndhurst as well. Would like to go back!
