Sahebs Indian Restaurant

We have passed this restaurant many times but was put off by its exterior . We then received a takeaway menu and thought it sounded better than it looked so we had a look on the website and was pleasantly surprised at its interior....we paid a visit this weekend and found it to be a lovely restaurant , great food. Vast menu. We were aware of lots of regulars collecting takeaways and hope to become a regular too.

Don't be fooled by the exterior! The best Indian meal we've had and we're quite well travelled. Not cheap but amazing food and lovely staff. The interior is stunning and the owner has plans for the outside. Thoroughly recommend.

Nice place with modern decor and great service. Food was delicious, really enjoyed the cauliflower bahji. If you like your curry medium or hot, be sure to ask for it that way.

Popped in for a Takeaway. Staff very welcoming. Order was completed quickly. 10 minute journey. Food was still piping hot. Excellent Menu with lots of choices. Food was actually amazing. Great flavours and good size Portions. Will definitely be returning soon and will Dine In. The ambience and decor is really beautiful. Highly recommended.

First time in Rye with the family. Came for a weekend and read the reviews so saved it as a place to eat. We went Friday night and it was one of the best services if not the best in a restaurant in Rye thus far!
The food was top quality. We had the lamb biryani and lamb curry.
The service on the floor was just the way you want it, friendly and helpful.
I dont often gave a 5 star but feel they have ticked all the boxes for us!

Had a great meal with the family this evening. The food, staff and location was fantastic. Good value for money too. We took away a doggy bag for tomorrow. Don't even have a dog!

Nice friendly local Indian restaurant we encountered when we stayed locally last week and the food was of a high standard as was the service. The price isn’t cheap but it does live up to its expectations - the staff and owner and friendly and accommodating. Will definitely be back.

Excellent food and service.
Classic dishes (particularly Tandoori) are some of the best we've had.
We regularly eat here and are always impressed.
