Tonight was Elvis night. So we had a great meal and excellent entertainment from Sal. We will most definitely be back. The staff did their utmost to fulfill our every wish and made us feel most welcome. A very enjoyable evening indeed.

Amazing food and very accommodating service. We were a table of 6 and our host was very gracious and we felt well looked after. The menu has a nice selection of both traditional and signature dishes and I can personally say for me it was one of the best curries I've ever had. The side dishes were also excellent and everything is moderately priced.

If you want to enjoy a really good curry, this is the place. My brother and I went there for last week and the food was excellent. The decor is tasteful and the staff attentive without being too 'in your face'. The entrance door is next to the Lebanese restaurant which is downstairs. It would be difficult to get up the stairs if you were not able bodied though. I have lived in Guildford for about 20 years and have had many curries over the years and I can honestly say this place is the best, not greasy as curries often are but just right.

I'm sorry to say this is one of the worst curries I've ever had and believe me I've had a lot of curries! The staff were so unfriendly and the food was poor. I've never had brussel sprouts in a curry before (see photo). The chicken was dry, the rice had a microwaved feel to it, my friends cauliflower bhaji was just inedible. The staff were like rabbits in the headlights, it was like an Indian Manuel from fawlty towers. I'm sorry to say one star is being generous 🙁

I arrived at the restaurant before my three other friends. First impressions were not good as the waiter tried seating me on an already occupied table despite my friend booking a table under her name. The service was slow even though the restaurant was not at its full capacity. There was four of us at our table and only two menus were handed out, I had to get up and get a further two menus. We did get complementary onion bhaji’s and baileys for the long wait for our food. The food was just an OK for me. The only positive was the generous portions. We had to ask for the bill twice which added to our frustrating experience. When were settling up the bill the Manager said we needed to pay the gratuity charge even though it was not compulsory. We will not return as the dining experience was not a pleasant one.

The food was good but the server was a letdown. It took a long time to get orders taken even though the restaurant was quiet and the server was generally being slow or awkward. Lots of small things like he didn't know what soft drinks you serve, or we didn't eat a lot and asked for a couple of takeaway containers but the server put both mine and my partners food in the same container. The guy I assume to be the manager was friendly and chatty, the guy who served us otherwise, not so much.

We have been a few times on a Friday night. Food is nice: naans are lovely, delicious onion bhaji and a good selection of meat, fish and veggie choices. Mainly though, we like this place for the friendly atmosphere and welcoming manager - always says hello and makes sure everything is ok. Would definitely recommend for a family meal out.
