Rude member of staff. Got told to move in a abrupt way when I first walked in and went to counter. I did not see there was a door at side of counter (probably from kitchen) and got shouted at to move away as I tried to make an order and got told to take a seat. I was tempted to walk out straight away. So i took a seat to wait for someone to take my order, another guy eventually took it. Received meal in a reasonable time, I ordered Chicken tikka naga, Naga chillies are very spicy. But this dish was disappointing. I Have had naga curries before from other places and I grow them so to get this so mild was a joke. Texture of chicken not great either. Egg pilou rice was OK. Nan was to doughy. Back to rude member of staff. As he was literally 2 feet away from me all he to say was .Please mind that door or something. Won't be using them again... Ever

Sadly, we are only able to eat here once a year when we are up here in Beccles on holiday.
On the plus side though, over the past few years we've been visiting, the food has remained consistently good and the staff very friendly, not to mention witty and funny!
This time around, four of us arrived for an early evening meal. As usual, the food was nicely presented, and the flavour just right.
I have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant whatsoever. Our only complaint is that they are too far away from where we live for us to visit more regularly. :-)

Food was delicious. Vegetarian Bhuna best my wife has had and the Chicken Shaslik was very tasty. Don't be put off by the surly but efficient owner, our waiter was very funny and charming. Restaurant full of nooks and crannies. Excellent experience. Thoroughly recommend.

Ordered a take away from the Bombay to collect.
I arrived about 15 minutes early, welcomed with a nice greeting. My food was ready 5 minutes early, the food was delicious full of flavour and my chicken tikka Madras was superb beautifully tender and my wife had a vegetable curry which was lovely. Great Indian food as always.👍😋

I don't usually leave reviews but felt I had to tonight. worst Indian takeaway I've ever eaten. had chicken tikka masala. sauce was like water and the chicken (all 4 bits) were like undercooked rubber. wife's veg curry was tasteless also. waste of money...you dont deserve to be in business with food like this.

Don't know what's happened.
Wow !!!!! the rudest manager Ever!!!
The food delivery was so Not like their usual .
So we complained. Abuse at it's finest and so juvenile, the middle finger we would expect from an irritable youth.
35 years of eating or ordering. Never again.
Not recommended.
Hopefully OneDay a cheery soul may take over.

The best Indian meal I've ever experienced!!
Attentive and professional table service with a fluidity that totally suited our party of five!!
Pickles and poppadoms were delicious, loved the turntable pickle stand and it was plentiful!!
The various tasty starters were polished off with plenty of praise, mouth wateringly delicious and full of flavour!!
Food warmers were then placed on the table followed by hot plates and an abundance of food......... We had chosen the Delight (a creamy coconut and mango infused creation!) the Peshwari naan (hot, crispy underneath and perfect as a curry scoop!) coconut rice and chips!
The portion sizes were very generous and we ate until we could manage no more, all the while giving plenty of praise for our delicious platefuls!!
Bombay in Beccles!!
We will definitely be visiting again next time we're on the Broads........ wish we had Indian food of this calibre back home......... Great all round experience from start to finish and the bill averaged £20 per person!!
Could eat it all again tonight!!
