I came here during the summer of 2019 and thoroughly enjoyed my dinner here. The food is distinctive, and delicious. Even a few years on, I still remember it vividly. I am pleased to see from the other reviews that Guddi and Gikki is still going strong.

Just been for the most amazing Indian meal at Guddi and Gikki in Taunton. Without a doubt the best Indian meal I've ever had. Only a small menu that changes weekly. Such lovely staff too. We spoke to the owner who is clearly very passionate about providing the type of food she grew up eating. If you are ever in Taunton I highly recommend you try this restaurant. A takeaway from our local curry house is just not going to cut it now that we have been so spoiled Guddi & Gikki by Somerset Curry Club

Without a doubt in my mind this is the best Indian restaurant around. The service was impeccable and the food was amazing. Fantastic depth of flavour in the curries, not just loaded with heat! The restaurant itself had a real authentic feel to it. Wouldn’t hesitate to visit again. Thank you for a wonderful evening G&G.

First time I went and I must say the food was amazing. Very Authentic! One of the best Indian Cuisines I’ve had in a very long time. Must try the lamb Rogan. Full of flavours and the portion was just right. Would definitely go there again.

Best curry restaurant I've found by a long way, not encountered anywhere else that makes such delicious curries as Guddi and Gikki and they're always consistently fantastic. Extremely filling portion sizes too and so full of flavour! The staff are great and super friendly too

After wanting to visit for years, we finally found the time to visit and were not disappointed.

This isn't your average curry. The flavours were all amazing, everything was super fresh and the chutneys that came with the popadums were epic.

It is a little pricey, and don't expect the normal "English Indian takeaway' portion sizes. This is proper homemade Indian, but it's worth it.

Only niggle was the food coming out extremely quickly, and the staff gossiping behind the bar (obviously normal and totally fine) but maybe not when there is a table literally right in front.

We had an absolutely wonderful meal at this restaurant..what a gem. We are from Bristol and no restaurant has ever come close to our home fav restaurants in the Midlands or even Southall or even Punjab for that matter.

Great ambience. Great staff and absolutely delicious food.

Thank you very much!

11/10 we will be back soon!

Thank you again and take care

Navdeep and Family.

Best curry I’ve had. Small menu but every dish is delicious. Wouldn’t change a thing. Really high quality food that feels home made. Unique in Taunton. Best popadoms and dips.
Mains came with rice daal and aloo so was actually good value for money.
Lovely atmosphere and friendly knowledgeable staff too.
