Sima Tandoori

Well don't know where to start, the head waiter felt sorry for him, no wonder he's got a bad attitude having to do two people's jobs. The food was average to be fair, apart from the mixed tandoori grill and naan breads and chips being served to us cold. Wasn't very happy that the mixed grill on a bed of salad was promptly warmed back up in the microwave instead of a totally new dish being served..sadly to say its your typical seaside curry house.

One of the few places in Porthmadog that serves food after 8pm. I find with Indian and Chinese Restaurants you need to be a little careful but I was desperate so booked a table with 6 colleagues with a little trepidation. I need not have worried. Seated on a table upstairs, service was swift and as you'd expect, lots of options and vegetarians are well catered for. Most importantly, the food was good! Prices were reasonable and I'd happily go back if I'm ever in the area again.

Run by very friendly and hospitable staff serving a diverse population with wide variety of menu items which are of a high quality and reasonably priced. So good, so diverse, I went there twice while staying in porthmadog... The place is so popular that the space for eating in can feel inadequate as people line up downstairs for take out. However, this is a good problem for the restaurant and an indication of quality and value. Highly recommended.

We had a really nice dinner there yesterday, thank you!The food was really tasty and the staff were friendly. Big thank you for serving food after 8pm. It shocked us that the local restaurants close at 8pm. In the end we were not very sorry as we enjoyed the food in Sima tandoori. Highly recommend!

Lovely food and great customer service. I highly recommend the veggie saag. Best Indian food I've had in a long time. Unfortunately the card machine wasn't working but as I had to go out to the cash machine the manager gave my wife and I a free drink, which was very kind of him.

We came across this restaurant following a recommendation from the other Indian restaurant in the area which was full! We had a lovely meal, good price, very tasty, served by really friendly staff. Would definitely go again.

The staff worked there socks off whilst we were there ,We booked to avoid disappointment, the starters and mains were brought out swiftly and tasted great. You could tell the staff were under pressure due to the volume of orders but were polite and prompt with the service regardless. highly recommended .
