We regularly visit Indian restaurants and this is the worst we have visited.
We were poorly greeted, we were not asked if we would like a drink(soft drink) , we carried no alcohol on arrival. We waited half an hour until they took our order. There was no background music. The building was cold.
The locals seemed to be favoured.
The owner has previously won awards for his food, but seems to have let the business slip and is living in the past.
The menu is dated and the food is below average.

This place was highly recommended by locals and didn't disappoint, all of our group said it was one of the tastiest Currys we've had and the service was just as good.. BYOB! And enjoy yourself, great place.

I had heard this restaurant had won awards and have been meaning to pay it a visit for a few years. So as I was in the area today I was looking forward to giving it a try. Disappointed to find it was closed, despite the opening hours on the menu indicating it should have been open, and there was no notice on the door explaining the closure. I did phone a few times but got no answer. The food might be great and there are some really good google reviews - but there are also some really bad ones and I noticed it only had a 3 star hygiene rating. So it might be great but I won't bother going back to find out for myself.

Food very bland and very greasy, not the worst but certainly not the best takeaway. Stopped by on the way through Corwen to our campsite, had chicken alonghbari for £11.95 (without rice!!) which sounded lovely on the menu but would have been better off with £2.50 microwave curry from Iceland. Sorry Abul's, must try harder.

Wow, thats the only word I can use for such a lovely customer service and food.I end up accidentally as I was travelling from snowdon to back birmingham and was feeling hungry. I visit so many Indian restaurants but this one is above par. Everything taste so great even end up packing more for home. And customer service is the best you can imagine. Will definitely visit again

Lovely food, can't fault anything our group had. Everywhere looked clean and tidy and the person who served us was helpful and friendly. Down side was that it was cold in the restaurant, the heating was not on and when we asked for it to be switched on it hardly threw out any heat..

We came across Abul's Spice after every restaurant we went to in the area, said they were no longer serving (9 pm on a Saturday night). Then thank goodness we came across AS and we knew it'd be open and the food would be decent. It was! The staff we're welcoming and very friendly. We had the Welsh lamb special which was excellent!
