Bahar

Been in Newtown for 5 days so having read the reviews had to try the Bahar. So out of 5 days I had a meal 4 times and it just got better. Lovely food and the staff were fantastic. Will gladly return for more great food.

Bahar is one of my favourite "go-to" restaurants. I chanced upon them back in 2020 when I had driven up from Shrewsbury to spend the weekend with a friend in Newtown. We visited again after a gap of 2 years last weekend to celebrate the Mrs' birthday. The food was delicious as always, everything was fresh and brought us a lot of memories. The service was above and beyond from tanz and rahi. My toddler was very curious to have a look at the very visible kitchen and was over the moon when the chefs waved back at him as we left. And a huge thanks to the team for making my wife's birthday special with a delicious plate of ice cream kulfi. Amazing place and a must visit.

Amazing food, we tried something different and we were not disappointed, very impressed. Staff were pleasant. Had a nice homely feel. Definitely recommend. We will be back.

Enjoyed our meal; was very tasty food and service was good only thing made us laugh was one of the staff was just roaming around in trackies bottoms, sliders & socks took bit of the fancyness away but otherwise brilliant

Lovely meal. Mahfoj was the perfect waiter. Nice and warm restaurant and nice atmosphere. Great choice of food on the menu. Can’t wait to return.

Had a lovely meal here,food is very good and service was also thumbs up,would recommend this indian..
And the young lad helping out there give him a tip guys,he works well and is a cheerful boy...

Very friendly service. I asked for a recommendation as I wanted to try something different from Chicken Tika Masala all the time! I've forgotten the name, but my meal was tasty. Would recommend.

Unfortunately ordered from Bahar for collection, they forgot some of the order so they had to deliver the rest, a friend had a curry and it was OK however the rest of the party was unimpressed. Soggy chips and not cooked enough really disappointed and won't be returning.
