Great food, family run Indian. Staff are friendly and well worth a visit. Can appear sparse for sit in guests but always takeaway customers in and out, worth the stop. Returned several times over a several years, always good.

Says it's open every day. My family and I have eaten here a few years ago and fancied this for our meal tonight (Thursday, 7pm). My parents, grandparents, and myself decided on what to order, then called three times to no answer. I walked down, sure enough the hours said it was open today and we were within the hours but door was locked. Nothing to tell us that they were closed or why. By the time we'd messed about, almost everything was closed in the village. Phoned again at around 8;30 just to see, no answer still. Won't be coming back if it's going to be unreliable like that which is a shame

Mix an Indian restaurant with Fawlty Towers and this is what you get. An hour later and I am still laughing, hilarious staff, could be taken as rude but it was really funny. Very nice food, plenty of it, including an unfeasible amount of nann. Remember, cash only!!! Don't ask about the architect, owes them loads of money. As does the blind decorator and picture hanger.

Brilliant

Ordered at the start of our hol and food was lovely. Ordered again at the end of the hol and the dhal was so watered down, it was like pouring water on the rice. They didn't send one of the rice portions ordered either. Also they only take cash, no card so made it awkward when ordering for a big party.

Brilliant place, can't beat the cobra cans which I thought were underpriced at £5, brilliant atmosphere, very peaceful. Will definitely come back to visit there again, and that is not only because it is the only place there open after 6pm.

They advertise they are open on Mondays, but when we tried to order a takeaway no-one answered the phone and it was too far to drive on spec. Very disappointing, we were looking forward to an Indian meal at the end of our holiday.

We ordered a takeaway for 9 people and went to collect. When we tried to pay, they told us it was cash only which I find strange and was not mentioned on the phone when we placed the order. The food was average at best but the reason for the 1 star review is because they missed 2 important items from our order. I will not be returning.

Food was OK, you don't expect fine dining in an Indian restaurant within a little village. Server was nice. Food was served quickly and was inexpensive.
