Ganapati Takeaway

Lived here ten years and always enjoyed the restaurant. So far we've been really happy with the curries from the takeaway too (and we order quite often!) Only comment is that very occasionally I don't think the fat is hot enough for frying samosas etc so they can be a bit flat, but all the curries we try, and that amazing paratha bread is a consistent winner. Brilliant spice balance, lots of meat or fish so you're not paying for a meal with two prawns in like some local places. So much so, we're ordering again tonight! Thanks Ganapati.

It was delicious, I had the lamb curry, £13.50 coconut rice +£3.40 and a paratha. +3.50 The lamb was tender well spiced and deep in flavor the sauce likewise, the coconut rice was light, fluffy and lightly flavoured... A perfect accent to the curry, the paratha was flaky and tore apart in shreds as it should. It was a wonderful meal, a random pick after typing Indian food and reading some of the reviews. The price was steep, but the meal was enough to fill me up and had a small bit leftover which I demolished today, besides that it was delicious as I said and we collected in person so there was a 10% discount applied, so definitely going back.

High quality food every time. Really interesting menu, not your typical Indian takeaway.

I have had the prawn, Seabass and chicken curry I only eat fish the chicken was for my son.
The Paratha bread is yummy I only ordered this no rice.
Also went to the sit down restaurant lovely service too!!

Great place. Started out 15+years ago as a small venue. Great to be going back after so long to try out this local gem. Will definitely go back.

Consistently brilliant takeaway & delivery service. Easy to order from their website and friendly delivery each time. Curries are delicious - great flavours, spice & quality ingredients. I love the dahl, dosas, poppadoms - all the veg & meat curries are lush. Nice to see they make an effort with good wines too. Just need to order the tea towel!

The best food I have ever had!!! I can no longer eat at other Indian restaurants and be satisfied.
Absolutely bursting with flavour and all the meat dishes are so tender. Could not recommend enough!!
