Teddington Tandoori

A friend and I bought a two course Indian meal here on Saturday night simply because all the local restaurants were fully booked. What a stroke of luck! My lamb dish was exceptionally good, best curry I've had this year

Ordered a number of dishes from Teddington tandoori and the food was okay, but nothing special. Not sure if this was an 'off' night, as we know people who have been using them for years without any issues, but the food was lacking flavour and was very oily. The naan and poppadoms were good. The staff members at the counter were friendly.

Chose this restaurant as I'd seen positive reviews on a local facebook group about their hygiene and safety during lockdown as well as some enthusiastic reviews of the food.
100% recommend. The food was fantastic, full of flavour and arrived hot and fresh. (Not overheated to appear hot at delivery like some places) The vegetable dishes had as much care taken over them as the meat dishes and the portions were generous. Very reasonably priced!
The deliveroo estimate of the delivery time was accurate and whilst longer then most was definitely worth the wait and both the staff and delivery driver were very friendly despite being clearly busy. Definitely order again thanks guys!

We’ve walked past this place many times and always commented on how delicious the food smells as we walk past. We finally ordered food from here as a change to our usual local place. I have to say, it didn’t disappoint. The food was absolutely delicious and really fresh. Definitely my new favourite local Tandoori. We’ll be back. Thank you.

Waited over 2 hours for delivery, had to call restaurant twice, was Friday night and delivery driver did apologise however. Just be aware of long delivery times. Food was great otherwise and arrived piping hot. Would've been 5 stars without delivery delay.

Great food when you get it!!!! Order placed, money taken, delivery time given for 7.15. As of 8.30 no food, both telephone lines are not being picked up so no way to chase orders!! Not the first time this has happened so more chance of winning the lottery than getting a correct order and on time. Not a penny more will go to this poorly managed excuse for a takeaway. Hampton Wick Tandoori here we come. Had to give a star to allow post but not worth one star>

Two hour and 15 minute wait for food. Food was cold and congealed on delivery. Inedible. I phoned the restaurant for them to be rude and not helpful. Similar reviews to mine below: Read them, heed our warning, go elsewhere for your curry, save yourself!
