The Indian Butler

Nice local establishment that offers a group dining option for large single groups on a per head price point. Food was varied and we tried a number of Asian Chinese fusion dishes in addition to the usual Indian choices. All food was tasty and presented well. Had a very enjoyable driving experience. Owners were on hand providing great customer service.

I’m very happy to have discovered this place. The food is beautiful. I go for the butter chicken, Dansak and tikka masala. I have been to hundreds of Indian restaurants in London and the food from The Indian Butler is the best by far.

Order the butter chicken it tasted only like coconut! Traditional butter chicken doesn’t even have coconut in it! Terrible. Rice was fine, hard to stuff up. Garlic nan was fine but a tiny serving. Only positive was quick delivery

After ordering consistently from this restaurant I was very disappointed to find one day that we ordered our food and were informed via the app that the food was coming. We insisted on waiting and had waited over 2 hours for our food to never come. We then called and were told it was less than 5 mins away. The food never showed up. It would have been easier to say the food was not coming as they didn’t even try to follow up to make sure that we got our food. Will not be ordering or spending my money here ever again!

Dreadful service! I rang the restaurant because my order was missing several items. I was told that I must be lying because the person who packed the bag ‘was absolutely sure that everything was in there’. When I insisted that I wasn’t lying, the staff member raised his voice at me and told me I would have to contact the delivery company because they were not going to help. My order was over £70 and I order from this Indian every time. Sadly, I was left with half an Indian takeaway and nothing I could do about it. It’s such a shame that the staff members do not care about their customers.

I ordered directly from the website. Ordered a prawn korma. I got given a chicken korma instead and called to explain the mistake. They sent me another very promptly with two free popadoms with mango chutney. Which was lovely! However, unfortunately, the korma was inedible and I think must have been made so quickly that it was very congealed and tasteless. So only popadoms for dinner tonight! I know this is nothing compared to how it normally tastes as I have ordered nearly 30 times from this restaurant. So very disappointed today, but every other time has been perfect, so unfortunately might be the last time.

The food is inedible. Ordered butter chicken and egg rice. While the rice was moderatly ok, although very sour, the butter chicken was plainly hard to eat.

The sauce is broken, full of grease and seemed like a sand in texture. The chicken was tasteless, but poorly pulled and hard to eat. Do not reccomend.

P.S. After contacting just-eat they refused to refund the food, although it was hard to eat even a bit of it. Avoid.

Always happy with the quality of the food, thank you team! It’s well priced too and the staff are super helpful. We’ve ordered from here many times and today had one issue with an item missing from the order and the guy on the phone was friendly and helpful! We had a replacement item delivered to us as soon as their delivery driver could make it! Thank you team - excellent customer service and we’ll definitely continue to be regular customers!
