Khyber Balti

After waiting for 1 hour and 50 mins for it to arrive it was like warm and absolutely disgusting, no flavour at all and the lamb had lots of fat and gristle on it. Also there's was loads of water floating on top of crushed boxes. Usually u get fat not water. Bland, bland, bland and the meat was dry. Maybe it has changed hands since we last ordered. I rung up twice to ask where our meal was to be told 5 mins then 2 mins when that was a further 15 mins. Even my partner couldn't eat it and he eats anything. Total waste of £26.50! I will never order from here again. Sort ur food out. It used to be my fav Indian but I have to say it was the worst indian meal I have ever tasted. Annoyed and disappointed

Placed an order for there to be rice missing, called up enquiring and was told that some rice would be delivered ASAP. After nothing turning up I called back asking again, to which I was met with the phone being put down on me. A third time calling I demanded an answer to where my missing dish was, I was told they were "too busy" and I would not be receiving my missing food, which I had PAID for, and then the phone hung up on me again. Absolutely disgusting service by the staff, would not recommend as they are rude and unreliable. Would rate 0 out of 5 if possible.

What an Absolute diabolical service! The food was not authentic Indian cuisine it had no flavours other than pepper and a lot of salt, the poppadoms were like cardboard and the chicken was grey in colour (disgusting). The delivery took 2 hours to arrive by which point I had phoned khyber balti to be told it will be with you in about 5 minutes it took a further 20 minutes after the phone call to arrive. The food was cold and the ben and jerrys Icecream had melted. We ordered the Icecream for our daughter but it was pointless as it didn't arrive until 10pm so she was in bed asleep! Shocking service! They also sent out the wrong drink and thw wrong flavour Icecream. I WILL AVOID THIS TAKEAWAY IN FUTURE.

Great portion sizes, reasonable delivery times, good quality meat and friendly drivers. My only complaints are that the curries are very watery and almost always leak! Stop adding water to the curries and use proper 'none leak' cartons for the food and this would be a 5* review.

I rated this restaurant so much to my family that we decided to get it as our Christmas dinner for today. We ordered at 5.05pm which came at 6.00pm which was fine, but they gave me chicken curry instead of mushroom ( my sister is vegetarian )and all containers were smashed with juice everywhere. So we called up and told them and got told they would deliver a mushroom curry asap. The next order came at 6.40pm which was again a chicken curry!!!!
Now we've just wasted £60 and have a lot of cold food sitting on my dining table! I've now got to spend more money taking my family out for dinner as my poor sister is starving and eating cold Indian is bloody disgusting!!

Another amazing takeaway.. the staff are always so helpful and delivery time is very prompt and usually under what they estimate. Food is amazing.. meats tender and spices are always perfection!. If you are looking for a decent takeout you know you are going to enjoy don't hesitate to order from here. Oh and their garlic mushrooms are AMAZING 😊. 5*+

Two and a half hours of waiting, three phone calls, told twice that "the driver has just left" (FAKE NEWS) and I'm pretty sure most of what was served was purchased from Asda and then incinerated by an incompetent spaz, sorry chef! I've never felt robed ordering food before ordering from Kyber Balti. If I could regurgitate the meal, reseal it in those tin foil containers, send it back and get a refund I would. Next time, I think I'll have a sandwich in stead.

Lamb was really hard, not cooked properly, poor presentation and lack of flavour. It was meant to have nice roasted flavour but it didn’t. I could taste a bit of the smoked roasted chill in this all blended sauce, but there was nothing special in the flavour for the price I paid. therefore food quality for me is 0 zero. Pillau Rice came freezing cold, must have been leftover from previous night. Health HAZARD!! Will not use again or recommend!!!! *STAY CLEAR*.
