The Raaj

Amazing food..... fabulous people...worked out my husbands allergy to coconut..got a beautiful curry without it.
Highly recommend this Indian takeaway.

We bought a large order to feed 5 persons.
Overall, I was disappointed.
The chicken tikka came on the bone. One of our other dishes also came with the Chicken on the bone The menu did not state this and it wasn't wanted. This menu change has happened since this place changed from MIAH, to RAAJ. Perhaps they are trying to get back to me authentic Indian street food which would be fine if it was clearly stated on the menu.
Personally, I had a chicken vindaloo which was quite nice and off the bone.
They also forgot one of the ordered items (quickly resolved).
Would I go back? Possibly, but given the choices in my area, we shall see.

My husband brought home a set menu that was really nice. I thoroughly enjoyed my chicken Korma. I think we may have found our new favourite local take out.

Tonight is the second time this week I've ordered takeout from The Raaj. Spent less than £30 for an absolute feast that fead two of us! They are all friendly and welcoming and make really great suggestions.

Fantastic food! A great team who can easily adapt to your request if you want something different.
I asked if I could have a Garlic King Prawn Chill Tikka, absolutely delicious! I highly recommend you ask for this— it’s not standard on the menu but it’s a must, and it goes really well with a tikka masala sauce; yummy!
Don’t delay— go there today— enjoy!

Fabulous food, brilliant service, have been using the raaj for more than a year, and the food is just as fabulous as it was the first time we used them.

Indian/Bangladeshi takeaway located on the Worplesdon Road with a new name and new owners. Tried some traditional curry dishes and all were very good. I will now definitely try some of their speciality dishes next time!
