Shappi Tandoori

Thought I would try this place out as its local to me and I do like a decent curry, what a big mistake. Firstly they said it would be about half hour to 45 mins for delivery. Well it did turn up 1 hour and 45 mins later and when I opened the door the smell of the delivery driver nearly nocked me of my feet. If they can send a delivery driver out smelling like that what will the kitchen staff be like as they are out of customers sight (and smell)
When I eventually got to the food it was all very tasteless and bland. We got quite a selection of things. everything pretty much tasted the same.
My wife was actually ill for two days after and when I rang them to complain the day after they was very rude on the phone and said that we couldn't prove that it was their food that made her ill.
How a company like this is allowed to trade is beyond me and I shall never use them again and would advise others to do the same.

By far and wide the best tandoori take away in Sunbury and surrounding area. The staff have always been courteous and the busyness of the place proves the quality of the food. We use the tandoori for large church events for which they cope very well. Always enjoy a chat with the proprietor. I would never go anywhere else!.

I have been ordering food from Shappi for years and always been very happy with the consistency of the quality of their food. Tonight I spent £34 on the most disgusting food I have ever had. The quality of the chicken was well below the usual standard. The curry itself did not taste as it should. The whole lot went in the bin. I’m sorry to say I will never be ordering food from this establishment again

I treated myself last night after a long weekend of packing and moving. Not eaten here for a while so I'm not sure if it's a change of chef or if it's gone down hill, but my meal was very salty. After picking around for a bit I came to the conclusion it was the lamb..... Had it been salted?? If so I would say overly. I was so disappointed. Lovely staff and quick service though

I got the food on one of the half price nights and it was lovely. There was plenty of food in the meat dish and rice. I also got a naan bread and the onion starter which I had to keep for the next day. The staff were friendly and very helpful.

First time here since it has changed to new management and OMG!!!!
I thought I would order a standard chicken curry, plain rice, onion bhajee and a chapatti.
(As it’s my first order)
Well I wasn’t disappointed. It’s bloody lovely!
When I first opened the curry the first thing I noticed is that there wasn’t any oil floating over the top of it (see picture) you know what I mean, 99% of curry’s in the past have that oil.
Onion bhajee’s are lovely and crispy, chapatti is your standard chapatti.
Looks like I’ve got to go and try some more dishes from the menu lol

Just moved to the area and found this gem off a takeaway first time ordered several items and everything was spot on and above expectations highly recommended found my new local and I can’t wait for this offer for buy 1 get 1 free on Sundays starting Boxing Day thanks

I have always liked your food, I know you are under new management but I decided to give you a go. The chicken Tikka starter was fabulous and the salad, what a surprise to get some olives, tomato and cucumber with the fresh crispy lettuce!! You have raised your game, well done guys!!
