Bayleaf Bangladeshi Express Kitchen

Wow! I live in Newport and only half looked at the address so thought it was in Newport, the food would not have come any quicker if it had been, super fast delivery.
The food, I ordered mushroom rice this was exquisite and the smell hit me straight away it was fragrant and fresh, the curry was a beef boona and this was tender and fresh to taste meaning fresh spice and coriander absolutely beautiful, condiments were fine salad fresh poppadoms fresh and keema naan fresh and tasty, in short there was nothing I did not like about this meal it topped most of Newport's curry houses hands down!.

Absolutely shocking service from the bayleaf last night. Not only did they get the order wrong (which was texted in so no misunderstanding should be made) but once we informed them of their mistake it then took them another 2 hrs to deliver our food, which again came wrong with no rice for the curry. The excuse from the management being we are busy! You won't be busy with our business again and if people want a decent service I would stick to the Tamarind!

It’s Garlic Chilli Masala dish is very tasty and delicious. I will always order from this Take away.

Recommended and reviews prompted us to try and very glad we did. Had chef special, very tasty, and my wife's usual was really impressed with taste and quality and worth every star I gave. Highly recommend and will definitely use again. Great food .

Amazing food from Bayleaf Risca first time trying and can’t fault them, all the curries were full of flavour and excellent customer service. Will definitely be back soon.

I wanted something a bit different from the usual offering and was suggested a 'murgi saag achar' (chicken green tikka) chicken tikka, chilli, onions, garlic, pickle, spinach with a side of garlic rice and Bombay aloo.

The first thing I'd like to compliment The Bayleaf on, is the staff are so friendly and inviting when you arrive and the kitchen is open plan and spotless... In between orders the chefs are cleaning down the surfaces and tidying things away to an impressive pace.

The food is cooked perfectly, fresh vegetables, expertly spiced, tender tandoori chicken and fluffy garlic rice, all served piping hot!

This is most definitely one of my favourite go to Currie house's at the moment 🙌
