Simla Tandoori

We have been using the Simla for over 18 years. The staff are really pleasant and food excellent never had a bad meal. We always have home delivery and have never been disappointed food always hot.

We sought this restaurant as an alternative to the Indian in Ystrad, and we are still disappointed. Finding hairs in our food was not on the menu when we ordered and yet we found them anyway. Nothing better to spoil a meal.
However, an improvement compared to our previous attempts at new restaurants. Food tasted great.

By far the best Indian takeaway in the area( I've tried them all!) Cannot be beaten on taste or content. The service is slow but we always prepare ourselves for the wait and order early and dont stress too much when the 90 mins is 3 hours...... because we know that some things are worth waiting for. My fave dish is the garlic chilli chicken bahar it's out of this world, and their mint sauce is clearly their own recipe.

Been comin here since it opened over 20 years ago , same highly skilled staff. Always answers the phone with a friendly voice. AMIR and his family are recognised throughout the south Wales area . Simla is a rare gem in the heart of Nelson offering quality , service and price. Theres no other Indian takeaway can come close . This is why we keep coming back.

After ordering a chicken koma yet again its still didn’t jump out And The Onion bhajee was nasty Notting what I can get in the nothing East very Disappointed and my wife food she did not like we order few things in Wales and its all been rubbish waste time and money And the chips were very dry I really can not water get back to the nothing East and go the the best ever there no point In calling up Complaining because you will not get your money back it is what it was just hate when food goes in the bin I should of just had a ham sandwich would filled me more

Outstanding! Popped in to get a Garlic Karma Nann and Chicken Pakora,salad and sauce and from the customer service to the quality of the food everything was 10/10 .... Highly recommended!
