A fabulous stay in a lovely old guest house. A large bedroom with a four poster comfy bed. Scrumptious full English breakfast. If you want absolute peace and quiet this is for you.

Great location. Rustic and chic, great breakfast, friendly family owners who are knowledgeable of the local area. The breakfast room is also a museum in its self with some vintage motor bikes and retro adverts all over the place. Well located for walkers and cyclists to explore the beautiful peaks, trails and towns alike.

The owners are really friendly. The accommodation is really nice and a cute cottage with exposed beams. The village and surrounding area is beautiful. Unfortunately the local pub is closed at the moment, but the Miners Standard is a 30 minute stroll through the fields to the next village and does great food.

My dad and his partner stayed here at Christmas. They stayed in the self catering accommodation which was perfect for them. Jean and Alan were really good hosts, they'd provided bread, butter and milk as well as usual tea, coffee. Oh and scones! My dad was very complimentary about his stay and will definitely come to Eltonand The Stables. Thank-you Jean and Alan.

A perfect retreat - located in a great location to all the peak highlights! Stayed for a week - Chris and Jen are lovley hosts. Everything you need for a relaxing break in the peak district. Immaculate cottage, big soft comfy leather chairs, warm house, cooker, fridge, BBQ, outdoor space, comfortable beds - a double and two singe beds. Plenty of private parking. Supermarkets deliver. Pubs near by. Lovley views and walks from the village. A great stay ...

Perfect location, Lovely spacious clean room with excellent hosts and the breakfasts were the best. Cannot recommend this beautiful b&b enough.
