The Stables

What a fabulous place. We stayed here for several weeks when relocating to the area. A short walk to Berkhamsted high street, great access to countryside.

Perfect.

What a joy it was when we arrived. The ‘Stables’ had been converted into a beautiful and comfortable one bedroom accommodation that has the warm feeling of home. It feels spacious and cosy at the same time.

The attention to detail in the interior design and provision of amenities is impressive. Sarah clearly understands customer service and satisfaction. She was friendly and welcoming and a delight to chat to.

We recommend this property unreservedly and look forward to returning. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Beautiful air bnb in a lovely location. Our dog loved the garden ! Close to lovely walks and will return when we can! House had everything we needed and was really comftoable and clean. Perfect weekend away.

Very comfortable, with peaceful outside space perfect to sit on a sunny day with a glass 🍷 or two.

Good location for Berkhamsted or further afield to get into London or more local for Whipsnade Safari Park & Harry Potter World & much more.

Great place to stay. Especially with a dog.

Sarah was hugely accommodating and made a real effort to welcome us personally. From the countryside-chic decor to the bespoke touches like homemade granola and luxury toiletries, our stay at The Stables was really special and we often felt like we were staying in a boutique hotel. The idyllic countryside setting was perfect for long dog walks and the underfloor heating was a cosy treat to come back to!

Our stay at The Stables was perfect. A lovely base for countryside walks and getting to places within Bucks and Herts very easily. The Stables was more than comfortable with everything you need for a short or longer stay, clean, surprisingly spacious and high quality towels, linens etc. Sarah and Tim were the most accommodating hosts we could have asked for - lending us their larger barn space to create flowers for a wedding we were working and attending but also small gestures like the loan of a yoga mat the supply of breakfast supplies for the first day. Their relaxed attitude and accommodating nature will make you feel as though you really are at home away from home. Highly recommend and look forward to staying again in future.

The Stables is very well equipped. The kitchen has all you could possibly need and more. The living spaces are comfortable and there is a lovely garden space and terrace. We had a lovely walk along the Grand Union Canal to Tring. Easy to get back as there are several trains each hour between Tring and Berkhamsted. There are many walks around the nearby countryside. The Stables is a lovely, peaceful retreat for a few days away from a busy city life. Highly recommended.
