Llwyn Helyg Country House

We thoroughly enjoyed our four night break at Llwyn Helyg recently, staying in the absolutely stunning Dryswyn bedroom. Before our stay, the excellent reviews had created a very high level of expectation, but this was completely surpassed by the reality. It is simply exceptional and unique purpose-built accommodation for which five stars seem inadequate. This is the home of Caron and Fiona, who look after everything, having designed every aspect of the exterior and interior of this fabulous house, and overseen its entire construction. It is a very special place, and everything is to the very highest specification and sparkling quality. Putting aside the stunning accommodation for the moment, Caron and Fiona were friendly, charming and helpful at all times. They could not have made us more welcome or feel more special, and nothing was too much trouble. We did not know this area, and Caron very helpfully wrote out details of interesting and beautiful places to visit along with postcodes, and even booked excellent restaurants for us. In case you are wondering, the breakfasts here were also, not surprisingly, perfect and beautifully presented. Our only regret was that we could not have stayed longer. However, we certainly will go back.

Simply Amazing

A most wonderful stay at Llwyn Helyg Country House. Absolutely fantastic hospitality from Fiona and Caron in their stunning home. The whole experience was just perfect and we will definitely be visiting again for a much longer stay.

6 star comfort at affordable price. You are warmly welcomed by Caron & Fiona with tea and freshly baked cakes. The rooms are very clean, light and airy and fitted to very high spec. Very tasty breakfast freshly cooked. Could not ask for more. If visiting South Wales this is a must for a cosy stay.

Absolutely fabulous. Only stayed one night but will definitely be going back. Accomodation was really luxiourious and the service was exceptional. Caron and Fiona were wonderful and friendly hosts. Can't wait to try out their music room.

What a wonderful place to stay. Lovely grounds and gardens, superb rooms, six star feel, amazing architecture of the building, splendid breakfasts. Best of all, Caron and Fiona are so welcoming, helpful, kind and two of the friendliest hosts I have ever met. They made our stay extra special.

Probably the finest B&B in the world. The owners Caron and Fiona are wonderful and make your stay feel very special. The house has been amazingly designed and no expense spared on the the fixtures, fittings and furniture. If you want an experience never to be forgotten then stay here...

This accomodation has been one our fondest highlights of our visit so far around the UK. This is one of those rare gems when it comes to location and hospitality. We loved it and would highly recommend.
