I should have heeded the Google reviews, clearly they are employing false reviews on other sites as the Google ones are closer to describing the experience I have encountered. Their customer service has been appalling, their after sales support is appalling and the stealth 'admin charges' they sneak in at every opportunity are often and disgusting. please I urge you not to take out insurance with these jokers if you are considering. I took the hit, cancelled my policy and will be insuring elsewhere.

1* is too high for this company. Insure elsewhere, even if it costs £200+ more! I regrettably took out a policy with them. 10 minutes later, they called me requesting my drivers licence copies, V5 documents and dvla code which I sent to them. Another 10 minutes later, they called me stating they were cancelling my policy and keeping £180 for admin fees and cancellation charges for not declaring a previous accident (which I did!!!). After being on the phone to them for 3 hours and threatening them with court, they said they would refund me within 25 days and only deduct £25 as a fee. What a joke!! This was the best they could do, even after they akbowledged the fault was theirs.

Done quote online went through paid for it and after that told to ring to confirm details. I phoned to be told wrong price and doubled it. Stupid me went along with it said yes. Month down line get told to show documents which I did and then up price again. Asked can I cancel they said yes but theres a fee. Beware of this insurance absolute scam.

disgusting sales tactics. Will quote you a price online with loads of hidden charges and fees. Customer service is appalling and will never pay out. I ask you, actually i BEG you do not insure yourselves with this joke of an insurance broker go directly through to an insurer as it will be cheaper and safer. They are just a broker and do nothing but pass your details on!

If less was possible I would have given them less: this is the worst company imaginable. To call them takes several hours as they NEVER answer the phone. I have sat on hold for 4 hours today- with the call disconnecting several times, and the music they supply you with is just atrocious.

To sit on hold after being told I haven’t sent them the documents they required or my policy will cease in 5 days- and knowing it had taken me the best part of my day today to even try and call them- just a disgrace.

I question their ability to help should I need help as I can’t even get them to pick up the calls to resolve an issue with my policy, heaven forbid a claim!

My advice- DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Although the cheapest on the comparison sites, heed this warning - BUY CHEAP; BUY TWICE, as I now am in the process of switching. Save your time and spend an extra few pound for a company with validity and the reputation to match as Ladybird is unknown and not in anyway competent.

0/10 for customer care, 0/10 for efficiency and 0/10 for overall experience and it’s only been 24 days of having this policy and this is my first car as first company- do not use please ! They need to be shut down immediately!

They lose a star because it took me over 1 week trying to get through for an enquiry. Always 60+ in the queue and estimated over 2 hours no matter what time of each day I called. I got through eventually by selecting the sales option but was still 6 in the queue. My car was damaged andI wanted to know if it was covered but it took so long I sold it as it was! Insurance not there when I needed it.

Racist in that refused to talk to a 73 year old that couldn't pronounce her g's and z's. Pulled up information that they should have questioned in the first place. All dealt with. If fact they were perfectly happy to take initial payment before they heard her accent due to her not having a modern phone. Disgraceful on so many levels.
It's no surprise to see so many negative reviews. Insurance is risk assessment. Is anyone risk assessing lady bird. I feel let down on so many levels by their customer service and attitude and ability to assess risk.

Have waited over 3 hours for someone to answer the phone Every time I phone the insurance they never answer. Waiting for my proof of NCB via email been waiting 3 weeks now...my new insurance agency threatening to cancel my insurance ! fuming to say the least !
