Nova Insurance in an outstanding company! I have never come across such a magnificent insurance company!
Michael Evans which also works for Nova Insurance is an astonishing person! He made every process swift and smooth. I am very blessed that he managed to help me out with fleet insurance!

Wrong documents sent, wrong renewal invitation sent and then get an email telling me they didn't get my business last year so if I come to them this year they will give me 25% off!? Marvellous that they can give new customers this but not existing customers. My insurance is in excess of £5000 so expect better than that. I won't be going back.

AVOID AVOID AVOID! And should not be on a trusted comparison website.
Application processed, deposit of £172 paid and notification received advising time and date of insurance starting.
On no email of documents being received, phoned Saturday morning to be advised I wasn’t insured and had to go through underwriting team. Could take a week.
Requested a refund. An email arrived two weeks later advising a £75 administrator fee (ironic being an online submission) and still
Waiting for balance a month later. Cannot get through on the phone.
The AA completed within an hour and proper.
So true you get what you pay for.

I took out breakdown insurance. One wintry morning my car was losing power and the engine was making a grinding sound so I couldn't drive it. I called to ask if I was insured. Call centre person took awhile to come back to me and when person did person told me I wasn't covered. I was in an awful situation and very upset. On further enquiry I was told I was refused assistance because my vehicle was mobile. It transpired my timing belt had failed, even though it had been replaced only 5 months ago. Any mechanic knows that a car is not mobile when the timing belt fails.

Following this experience I cancelled my policy paying a further cancellation fee, however, Nova refuses to refund my premium even though I was still within the 14 day cooling off period. They maintain I made a claim because I called them to ask if I was covered.
They have called me when I complained via their website, but have refused to date to put their decision in writing. I'm surmising this is because the Financial ombudsman requires a response in writing from them to lodge a complaint, no doubt Nova is aware if this.

They will take your money, will not provide any service. Worst customer service, please avoid. Don’t waste your money. Don’t buy their policy through comparison sites.

Most unhelpful insurance company I've ever used.
I got a quote from them which looked quite good so I paid the deposit and then the quote doubled in price, I'd already paid the deposit so couldn't do anything.
If a payment is missed or late you can't talk to anyone and you get charged an extra £25 and get a text/email saying you policy will be cancelled if not paid within 7 days. They are not in anyway flexible.

Really happy with the service so far. I got an online quote. Someone contacted me to see if I wanted to accept it. I said I was still shopping around and no one hassled me. When I called back to start the policy, someone answered the call straight away. Setting up the policy was easy and I was sent all of the policy documents straight after the call.
