I decided to use Holiday Risk ( also a trading name of Globeshield International and Travel Facility Claims) as they covered over 50s and specifically because they had a user-friendly website. All went well completing their requirements on their website. Unfortunately, my flight from France was cancelled when I was due back from holiday and so began a nightmare from this company(ies) and their trading names. It took many emails and telephone calls over 2 months for an unsatisfactory response for what should have been a simple claim for a 24 hour plus cancelled flight claim. Shabby customer service.

No one answers the phone and no one replies to emails. Impossible to make a claim.

I wholeheartedly endorse the adverse comments . I am trying to pursue a claim for a cancelled flight . Fortunately, no big deal as , having been lucky enough to speak to someone after almost thirty minutes “ holding the line “ , I completed an online claim form , heard nothing , phoned again , after many minutes of waiting , spoke to someone else, who promisdva further form , nothing , wrote to the “claims manager “ 5/7 , no reply
As I said , this is not desperate, but what if it was ? Suppose I could not “hold over” a couple of hundred quid ,( and there have been plenty of times in my life when I could not) , suppose I was in a French hospital ?
I am glad I have had this experience of such a company , as it has been an invaluable lesson . You do not save money by insuring with a company like this , you simply throw it away . Beware , buy your insurance from a reputable firm . PD .

So slow when claiming.
They seriously quote upto 10-15 *working* days after you send a claim form for an answer. Called after 10 and they couldn't tell me a thing, they used up literally the whole of their quoted 15 days before dealing with a very simple claim. What do they need so long for? I'd avoid this set of jokers at all costs.

Just had to cancel a policy as we won't be travelling this year now, full refund with no fuss and no lengthy telephone call. No quibble with refund and prompt. Thany you 😀

like many my trip will not now take place. I cannot thank the gentleman from Holidayrisk who called me and sorted out my cancellation refund with no hassle,. Wish I had gotten his name. A credit to his company.

This was the easiest company to book through. I heard their ad on Lyca radio while on my way to work. Travelled to spain and had to get insurance through Holidayrisk. Simple online booking process and staff were lovely over the phone. Would highly recommend!
