I've have insured my brass instrument with Victor Knight for a number of years. Unfortunately I had to make claim for accidental damage, I got to choose my repairer and the claim was settled with no hassle Highly recommended

I have been with Victor C. Knight for a number of years - but never again!

I received a letter from them informing me that my Insurance had not been renewed, and as of that day (a Saturday) it would be illegal for me to drive as I was no longer insured. They would get in touch with me as soon as possible.

They did not.

After many phone calls over the next three days being unanswered, or answered and suddenly cut off, or with promises of being rung back never happening, I was finally told after THREE days of being unable to drive my car that they would be unable to offer me a new policy like the last one - not even for more money.

Their website claims that there will be a reminder from them when the insurance renewal is coming up - this never happened. I was left in the lurch, with no help or assistance, and I had to myself find another insurer.

I consider their behaviour unprofessional and inconsiderate, and would never recommend them to anyone.

22 January 2020.

Hard to give more than one star if no one ever answers the phone.

I was insured with Victor C Knight for 2 years and after moving insurance company, a request for my no claims certificate was ignored. I have called, emailed, left voicemails, even spoken to someone on the phone who assured me he would send it that day, but failed to. So unprofessional and are at risk of getting my new policy cancelled. Avoid.

No one answering the phone or picking up messages, or answering emails. Yet they seem to still be posting on their twitter account?! Also being ignored on there. Disgraceful customer service - supposed to be for musicians too who are having great a very tough time of it at the moment! Even on furlough you could answer an email couldn’t you?!

Up until this year they have been very competitive - now literally impossible to get hold of. I'm trying to give you money for FS! I've let me policy lapse now and will move to a company who can be bothered to answer a phone or email

I’ve sent emails, been on hold for days trying to get my no claims off them for my new insurers and no response at all!!! Absolute disgrace
